They shouldn't celebrate at all. They should even apologize for winning gold and even having the teeniest thought of joy in their minds.
They should exit the ice fast and then take off their medals and hide them so they don't hurt the poor little feelings of the other people cause obviously in not in our "culture".

I would've laughed if Perry scored to complete the Toews, Perry & Crosby trio that scored in the 2010 GMG.......then Kunitz scored and I almost choked from how hard I was laughing.

Just to get this right: Canada got an easier game than you should have. The more I hear now in media the more clear it is the players is quite affected by the Backstrom situation. And unfortunately Swedes are like that, too easily emotionally affected, no winner heads : (

After Spain won the World Cup, I remember reading (paraphrasing): Their game was so perfect that it was boring.

Feel like the same applies to the Canadians overall. They might not have been high-scoring games, but have to appreciate the finer points and the domination where it counts.

That's just it. This team was so much better than any score would suggest. Completely in control every game.

Couple of things. Duschene . His face upon receiving the gold medal was priceless. Canada played for every square inch of the ice . The extra effort to win battles.The extra swipe of a stick to get the puck. Not giving up on anything. Wonderful performance ..Kudos to the whole team. Love it..

Canadians use this excuse all the time. if you can't understand that small countries will be more affected by absences, I don't know what else to say.

What is your point? They are more affected because they have no depth. A Canadian gets injured and we replace them with an all star, Sweden replaces them with some scrub. In other words they aren't as good as Canada. Injuries are a huge factor in sports. Good teams overcome it through depth. Tough nuts to Sweden.

please top these stupid remarks. Sweden got young talent, but 2014 we're nowhere near of having huge players like Forsberg, Sundin, Lidstrom. Only one is Lundqvist. We need to have access to every single best player we got to even stand a chance. Remove your 30 best players, put on a roster, and you're still better.
