I don’t think either one of us can objectively conclude anything, but men getting surprise taps on sensitive areas do react like that. The timing of the fall is natural.I dont think you can look at this objectively unfortunatley. Quite clearly a dive. If you watch the replay.
When has Finland ever won a best on best?
I just searched around this forum with several words in that phrase, and the only posts I came across over the course of this tournament were *my own*. Other people were clearly amused by it when I used it for the first time, so I decided to turn it into a running joke every time Finland wins a game.Thank heavens, that quote already needs to go the way of the do do bird, everyone and their pets are using it these days.
I saw some canadian poster making one during the quarter or semi game too, and I've noticed it going on here at several tournaments during the past couple of years.I just searched around this forum with several words in that phrase, and the only posts I came across over the course of this tournament were *my own*. Turns out they won a fair bit of them.
But, like I said, the tournament is over now, so I'll retire it. Rest easy.
Buhuu... Cry me a river, sore loser..You're somehow equally as blind as the refs are. Its a meaningless tournament, all that really matters is best on best but its unfortunate for the players and their families when the reffing is this bad. Diving to get calls too.... Its a tough look. Anyway im sure its a way bigger deal in Finland than it is in Canada so enjoy.
The likes I received reposting it over and over again tell another story.Hey, it's cute and feel free to use it, but it's going to wear out it's welcome really quick.
It's 6AM on Monday morning. Unlike hockey players, some of us have to get up early and haul butt to this activity called "work".Man, that investigation must have took some time.................shouldn't you be partying? I figured all you guys would be up to the neck in vodka all night.
And thats sad isn't it?The likes I received reposting it over and over again tell another story.

Then don't call it.To be fair they had their backs against everyone, was hard to see whos stick hit Heiskanen's face.
My empirical experience indicates that some people also found it funny. But as usual, it's a matter of individual perspective. And thats sad isn't it?
I meant it's sad we must get up for work. I'd rather be doing a million different things. My empirical experience indicates that some people also found it funny. But as usual, it's a matter of individual perspective.
It might be sad if I consider those nanometers of fingertip skin I wasted posting it over and over again. But, then again, I've heard that the stuff regenerates.
That I can easily agree on. Especially on a day like this.I meant it's sad we must get up for work.
One weak high stick call on the third doesn't warrant for that claim on an OT win/loss, sorry.Sad that the gold medal game was determined by the refs. It does happen though.
Some teams are more adept at it for sure. But if all teams do it, I would like to see the Refs call both, the penalty and the dive, this might just stem the diving culture. Then maybe we can watch hockey as it was meant to be played. Fighting through checks, winning on skill and coaching. Not theatrics, when a player feels a stick on them, falling like they were shot. This is hockey not soccor, Nothing to do with the result. Congrats to the Finns. Game is over, but this is one reason why I never put the World championships on the top of my watch list. The willingness of the IIHF and the refs to constantly fall for embellishment makes me long for NHL referring. And I am hardly a fan of our refs, but they are infinitely better over here. All teams do that though,Canada does it, it's a tactic unfortunately.
I hear you,I'd love a diving free hockey world, sadly it's never going to happen. Some teams are more adept at it for sure.
