Wow Congratulations to Finland!!!!
I think every Finn agrees with me saying that Jukka Jalonen is the best coach they ever had so far. Let's check what he achieved with the NT:

1919 WHC: Gold
1921 WHC: Silver
1922 Olympics AND WHC: Gold

And I'm not sure but was J. Jalonen not coach 2011 when they won Gold too wasn't he?
you almost nailed the years

No Canada is not in better economic situation, average Canadian does not live better than average Finnish person and lastly, Finland is not begging to join NATO. Stop spreading lies.
well I'm glad we've sorted THAT out!

They’re allowed if you’re Finnish, sure. If you’re Canadian it’s a double minor
Canadians were also allowed to do body checks, and they did plenty of them with total of 0 (zero) penalties.

If you cared to watch, Canadians were all the time playing more on the edge of getting a penalty. Nothing dirty, but just more slashes (like those by Sillinger he got high sticking as a mistake by the refs) and hookings.

Finland was really, really careful not to give any opportunity to refs to call, with a very good reason.

This tournament is 2nd rate
Have a real world tournament and Finland would be lucky to finish (no pun intended)
5th at best
Dear larek, you could start from opening Wikipedia. Then search for ice hockey olympic medalists from recent best on best tournaments. Any other arguments?

I get that you are triggered because you bothered to post that message. It's fine, Canada is still undisputed number 1 hockey country.

Very sad to see the tournament decided through a botched call. Canada would have had the eventuality with their better top talent (especially Centers) on fair 3v3. But gratz to Finland, I guess.

I give Canada the win - they actually won it - that's all that matters - tournament at times was a joke with the reffing
This is taking salt to a new level,

But as a swede, damn you Mikael Nord for bringing embarrassment upon swedish hockey even after the team is out.

Do you skip the best on best tournaments?

Ha! I just remember the 1998 and 2006 Olympics fondly. Just remember, Finland is missing some guys due to the NHL playoffs so this isn't their strongest team.

You realize Canada has a much better economical situation than Finland, right? And the average Canadian lives a much better life than the average Finnish person? And Finland is begging to join NATO
Guess you've been living over here then. How do ya measure it? Its pretty much the same so don't be a such sore loser lol : - - D
