Has not been good but Jake never even got close to sniffing a cup let alone win it. It’s not like we have much of an option right now with Binner anyways with the new deal. Gotta ride the storm.

not for the next 5 years - if Binnington doesn’t round back into form, DA will do something to rectify the situation - I don’t know what, but doing nothing certainly isn’t the answer.

DA’s patience won’t be infinite, but I’d be shocked if Binny isn’t back next year. And I expect he will be much better than he has been for past month or so.

Theres not much to do. Binny wont be the starter if he plays poorly but nobodys going to trade for that contract and its way way way too early and too many dollars and cap hit for the blues to even consider buying out. He will still.be here for a few yeats even if its as an overpaid struggling backup

They would have to try and trade him sooner rather than later in the hopes a team thinks he's just in a funk. I say send him and Scandella to Vegas for Petro.

well well well. Another Husso win, would ya look at that? Same team. Different tendy. Different result. How much longer can the Binnington homers keep crying about how bad the rest of the team is? I think it's over. Husso is the clear #1 until we can figure something out.

Since Nov. 3, Binnington has a .889 save percentage and has allowed 3.70 goals per game.

You have no idea how mad they are.

Finnish goaltender is better than their man.

They know how vocal I have been about Husso and him playing top level now.

Double hate.

Perhaps he needs some kind of a wake-up call.

Maybe ship him to the minors for a stint, call it "conditioning" or whatever you will, then maybe he will get back to a former compete level, and fix some of the issues that he has been struggling with.

Other than that, and possibly just the simple passage of time, I don't see how he can get out of this funk.

Imagine choosing not to watch a game because the team isn't playing the goalie you like more.

I'll watch anyway but the usage of Binnington is disgusting. As if leaving him in net the full game vs NJ wasn't cruel enough. There's no need to play Binnington. Husso can't possibly be tired. Why do this to Binnington and throw away points? I don't get it.

That's all well and good but there's a difference between that and saying you won't watch because of it.

Have better things to do than watch the team score 5 goals but lose and piss away 2 more points for a guy who should have been sent to the AHL months ago.

Hopefully they win tonight but I won't be watching anymore binner starts in 2022
