I’m ready to move on. Since Melnyk died Dorion has made 2 moves that I absolutely hate.

Joseph - too much term and AAV, he was a 3 x 2M player.

Using assets and money/cap space on Debrincat instead of a RD.

As much as Dorion has infuriated me . I am too attached to the core he built I don’t want some new guy to come in and ruin it by trying to put his mark on the team by trading a core piece or two. Hope the new owners give Pierre a 1 year tight leash saying playoffs or your job and btw you gotta fire DJ.

Why? What gives you any hope his pro evaluations can improve this team? Switching Paul for Joseph and giving Joseph that contract is a fireable offense in my eyes - trusting a coach who’s never met any expectations you’ve ever had - Dorion is about loyalty not winning or building culture

I'm under the impression that new ownership, whoever they may be, are competent enough to realize he's a goner.

I mean other than the Paul trade, Joseph re-signing, Gustavsson for Talbot trade, etc...

It's definitely been a mixed bag but he's been a lot better in the past year than he was during the rebuild that's for sure.
