Partially - who ever approved the expense. So we should credit Leblanc for trading for DeBrincat?

So not Leblanc..Partially - who ever approved the expense.
So not Leblanc..
I like seeing credit given where it's due, Dorion deserves a ton of credit for what he's accomplished this offseason, and I've not been shy to heap on the praise when he's done good. I'm not sure why we need to try to praise him for things he likely had little to no involvement in though. Might as well start giving him credit for the graphic designs on the website, and marketing strategies.
I’m going to be curious to see how good Chabot looks at $10 million in the near future.
He’s not the best PP1 option.
He’s not the best PK1 option
Sanderson may pass him soon being the most valuable minute guy.
Pinto, Greig, Boucher, Formenton, Lassi, JBD, And Branny are all going to need contacts when chabot is making $10 - that entire group may cost $10 million to keep.
Dorion’s planned this well - I bet he has a plan for some of these guys as they transition to their $10 million years depending where they slot on the team.
I really doubt. If Sanderson, Brannstrom and Holden can somehow split 36 minutes of LD ice per game we’re going to see a completely different Chabot.
I don't share this fear. Senators are one of the most physical teams in the league. Maybe 1 more defenceman over 6'2. This isn't the 90s.Dorion needs to focus on getting this team a deterrent. We have too many rookie, undersized or vulnerable stars that can be targeted like Stutzle, Cat, Giroux, Norris, Pinto, Sanderson, Brann, etc.
Opposing coaches will be targeting our skill.
Right now we have Brady and Watson when he’s healthy. Maybe Hamonic. No one else.
Most teams can easily go two deep fighting if needed. We don’t want Brady having to provide all this protection.

I think stutzle is going to be a scary dude soon. It's one thing to pick on him when he's a teenager. With his build and devotion to training he's going to be a freak.Fair enough … I do. DJ has them hitting everything in sight but there’s a lot of soft/light contact that doesn’t do anything to stop a Gudas, a Habs rat or whoever from targeting someone.
I really doubt.

I do not mean it. I don't have that much optimism for Chabot.Brannstrom played 19:46 on average last season. I don’t think it’s that hard to find a split with Sanderson or Holden to add up to 36.
So you think teams will target our top 9 and top 4? LOL Good luck with that strategy!Dorion needs to focus on getting this team a deterrent. We have too many rookie, undersized or vulnerable stars that can be targeted like Stutzle, Cat, Giroux, Norris, Pinto, Sanderson, Brann, etc.

The Senators haven't had any issues in the last few years and now their core is older and stronger. We are plenty big up front. Bath will drop them if necessary and CG has had some good tilts in his day. Forms isn't afraid and I doubt Joseph is either...then our 4th line is all guys who can fight.Right now we have Brady and Watson when he’s healthy. Maybe Hamonic. No one else.
Not even remotely true - list the teams that have fighters 2 lines deep? Most teams can easily go two deep fighting if needed. We don’t want Brady having to provide all this protection.

What did you mean by, "two deep fighting" then?I'm going to move on .. you can't just put words in my mouth and argue against me with your version of my comment. I never said "teams had fighters two lines deep". That is something you created and are doing in every response. Have a nice day.

Not trying to put words in your mouth at all and haven't been doing that.
Just trying to have an adult discussion about topics that are posted here! Have a good day too!
We also have Kelly and Watson besides Brady.Dorion needs to focus on getting this team a deterrent. We have too many rookie, undersized or vulnerable stars that can be targeted like Stutzle, Cat, Giroux, Norris, Pinto, Sanderson, Brann, etc.
