What’s that got to do with the team being 29 years old not 35. Just saying , since that’s what you quoted.

UFA starts at 25-28 years old. There are available players in the league for free (no acquisition cost) starting as early as age 25 if you can attract them to your city.

It’s a free wallet …’

Edit - 29 year old … 35 years old … sure…. I just guessed.

Lmao dude. Thanks tips I know the rules.

Obviously you did read my post where I said it used to be 32 for UFA when the Sens came in the league 29 years ago not 35. No idea why you would remove that part. All I was doing was correcting your inaccuracies.

Yes you can get a guy at 25 if he starts at 18. What percent of UFAs at 25 become available, it’s probably close to zero. So some context is better.

Have you ever heard of the term , small market team.

Yes I’m aware that we are a small market team. I don’t think I’ve ever suggested we weren’t ? You’re the one that attempts to challenge the content of my posts

All players reach UFA at some point … 100% of all players… it’s been a while since I heard anyone use “tips”.

I challenge any post that’s inaccurate, it’s not just you. FYI. Like the 35 years.

Ya got me ! I threw 35 years out and was clearly wrong . Congrats. What a stinger. Shame on me for chucking out that number .. I should know better .. I was at that Habs game ages ago and clearly mixed up my 29 and 35.

This is great for the org.

VP is the backhanded slap of job titles. They should have been pushing for at least President or, like, Neil had a Bierhalle or some shit at some point so why wasn't he gunning for Chancellor of Business and Community Development?

All joking aside, nice to see some of the team's biggest alums come back for roles in the organization.

I mean, I’m not proud. I’d accept a VP role. Just saying…

So much is happening this summer.

Pretty clear how much the organization is as handicapped under the previous ownership situation.

What an insane breath of fresh air.

Keep the good times rolling!

I'm trying to keep up ... We've added Phillips and Neil, now Stutzle ... Amazing.
Phillips and Neil are on the business side, so likely nothing to do with Dorion, but otherwise I agree, really great day's worth of announcements.

Yup, and I’m expecting Alfie on the team side eventually…

Maybe give Chara a job when he finally retires….

I don't think Chara has any strong connections to the team at this point, I'd be very surprised if he were ever to join the org.

Oh … as we know it’s a small group and everything is intertwined - the business side is involved in signing the $200 million of contracts and the hockey side would be involved
In bringing former hockey players into the org.

Please re-sign Zub.....its all I ask

Zub is an interesting one. He'll be 28 at the start of next season, when his new contract kicks in. At that point, JBD and Thomson will both be 23 with likely 100+ games of AHL experience.

How long and how much makes sense for Zub? I'd do a hair less than what Josh Manson got ($4.5x4 so $4.25x4 for Zub) but not more.

So we should credit Leblanc for trading for DeBrincat?
