These wins are like Jack in the Box tacos at 2AM after you've been drinking all night. It's fun as hell in the moment but almost instantly regrettable.

I've never regretted a catfood taco from Jack in the Box. I have, however, regretted late night McDonalds and BurgerKing.

Honestly though, look at the contributors for this win: Wagner and Kempe with a goal; Toffoli, Leipsec, Walker with assists; Kempe and Toff with shootout goals. It's not a black hole if the guys pulling out wins are the young, developing players. We should be celebrating the fact that they are figuring it out.

Toffoli has been great the past 2 months, he's been creating, he's starting to finish....

But I actuall agree with K17 on this, he's not one that I think they should commit another 4-5 years to, and that's what he's gonna be looking for, I think to get the best value for him, you have to deal him this deadline...

• Really enjoyed the speed of Walker and LaDue moving the puck... ::cough:: without Phaneuf in the lineup.
• Leipsic. I still love this guys game. What a steal of a free pickup.
• Kempe is juiced, and I'm loving it.
• Toffoli chipping in finally.
• Nice to see Wagner get rewarded.
• Cliffy has been a surprisingly great mentor to the kids to pass on what little winning culture we have left. I assumed this would have been Kopitar, Brown, Doughty, Quick but Big Red Dog ain't going nowhere!

They've looked fine, Kempe and Toffoli have stepped up and we're getting timely goals. But they've been against bad teams so grain of salt and all that.
