I agree with you on all this. You are a little different in that you acknowledge the scoring problem which to me is 100 times worse than our D problems. Collectively, Not enough playmaker ability and passing skills. The point in the game where I finally lost it was when Folin busted his butt all the way up the ice to create a clear 2 on 1 and Pearson just buries a long perimeter shot into the goalie. No lateral passes. Missed passes when they happen. Can't catch good passes, etc. It's all very sloppy. As for Quick, if I hear Fox say one more time that Quick made the save look easy because of his "push" out towards a player, I think I'm going to quag. He pushes himself right out of his crease and things are constantly going in from the side. He thinks he should never have to play a bad bounce off to the side or a late arriving F down the side, etc. He needs to be able to make more saves while remaining calmer, under control, and deeper in his crease. Many times his pushes leave him completely out of position.-We're not scoring.
-Most of our defensemen continually make bad decisions with the puck.
-Quick's weakness as goalie is over aggressiveness which can lead to him being out of position. It's never been an issue, but lately teams have been able to exploit it for some reason.
-Most of the team looks flat. Not playing with energy or hunger.
You combine theses things and you're not going to win many games. Not sure what the solution is.
