Good effort, can't expect too much more against a top tier team when the Kings roster currently ices the number of non-NHL players as they do right now. The margin of error is extremely small in a game like that, they were never going to overcome all those mistakes

Boy this team is just bad. I had said before that I didn't think a team with Doughty/Kopitar could be bad enough to get a top 5 pick but I think I was wrong. Doughty and Kopitar look like they have just mailed it in, they can read the writing on the wall, even if Luc and Blake can't. This easily could have been a 6 or 7-3 type game.

It's not the breakouts so much as it is the zone entries, they just can't do it.they break out ok most of the time...but they can't enter the offensive zone if all 5 opponents were on the bench....it's brutal

Phaneuf and Forbort are not good anytime they are within 5 feet of the puck. You can only have one in the lineup at this point.

That’s what bothers me. Phaneuf and Forbort will never be better than they are right now. Why is LaDue sitting in the press box?
