If Giroux does end up signing in Ottawa that makes things easier for me. I was planning on following him around the league until things change in Philly, and its a lot easier for me to stomach cheering for my hometown team than any other team. I'll always be a Flyer fan but I'm not watching another game until the next GM comes along, and that probably won't be for long as they prove themselves to be another Clarke puppet.

i cant watch Ottawa. They are worse than Fletcher!

Did anyone of you see the presser from Giroux! He said basically: Yands is a friend you only find so often in life!!!!

I dont know what is happening, but G really does some strange things!

Loving Yandle publicly and wants to sign for the flyers or in Ottawa is rly strange in my eyes!

G has some family and friends in Ottawa. Spends most of his summer here that would be why he would consider signing with the Sens.
Sens also have to want him.

Friedman writes in 32 Thoughts column that Giroux is doing his research on Ottawa. He mentioned in a recent podcast that his house is close to the rink.

That rumour has been floating around for a year or so. I think it was Garrioch that first raised it. Could have been someone before him too. G seems to be a family first kind of guy. Not all players are willing to move around a lot to chase a cup.

That has to be a case of sending a video between an Android and an iPhone. How that is still an issue in 2022 is astonishing to me.

Because that's the name of the game with capitalism.

Look at how many different automakers are developing self driving tech independently of each other. Gotta keep those companies "profitable" whatever that means.

Obviously I would love to see Giroux win the Stanley Cup, but then I realize that Joe Thornton is on the same team... I can already picture Barkov handing the Cup to Thornton first. And now I'm conflicted.

Shit - that does take some of the fun out of it. Hate that guy.

Friedman on 32 Thoughts podcast, Re: Giroux and Ottawa, nothing groundbreaking here.

"It's not an option that's off the table."

"Expectation that's where he's going to retire to." He is building a house there.

"I don't think it's a guarantee but I think it's on the radar."

"The idea of Giroux is very exciting for them [Ottawa]."

Spent half the time alloted talking about Colin White.
