Can't remember the last time I saw 7 power play goals through two periods. Hoping that after this penalty ends Canada has to play at even strength and do some penalty killing. Good to get some players rolling but the team still needs work.

this reminds me of playing AAA as a kid then playing summer hockey (against all levels).

not really fair and not a great way to prepare for the upcoming hockey season.

This is like when those pro guys come home and play summer mens league against a bunch of white collar office workers.

I don't know BUT Forsberg had 10 against Japan and this might be close

It would be interesting but I doubt that the top line gets a lot of minutes in the third. Might get 1-2 more I would think maximum.

That’s not fair. Germany has a bad team this year but they just got Silver in the non-NHL Olympics which is still great. Austria is probably due a relegation this year though

It is interesting right, if Canada doesn't beat lower teams by enough the team isn't good enough because they didn't beat (insert team) by enough. When they do beat up on the lower teams they are being disrespectful and "karma" or the "hockey gods" will get them lol

Germany lost narrowly to Sweden 0-1. Canada is just on a rampage...

Well... I don't identify as those "people"...

I still have scars from My hockey and I had to end playing hockey because of congenital weak points on my lungs... got hit hard in junior... clean check like the German gave... collapsed both my lungs...

Wasn't the opposing players fault...

I wish I could still play and I loved the physicality of it... miss it after all these years...

If you want to stop growing the sport and prevent former tournament all stars like Stützle from attending thats certainly the best way to go.
Hope you dont enjoy watching many other sports because canadian athletes are certainly not attending many international sporting events like the soccer world cup anymore

What are you talking about? Germany has made considerable progress.

For any team in junior if you have to kill a penalty for 5 minutes you’re screwed. Happened to Canada against Czechia

Czechs had this entire team and country just seething mad.

Started out flying physical on the forecheck and completely took over.

Norway won the division this year. They will be promoted with Austria or Latvia probably getting relegated.
