Well the powerplay isn’t broken. It still leaves questions unanswered about areas of Canada‘s game but this good if only for their confidence.

From my perspective the penalty was too harsh, but Germanies PK is too weak (even though Team Canada's PP is brutal).

this reminds me of playing AAA as a kid then playing summer hockey (against all levels).

The German player never left his feet. There was no attempt to hit the head. If Fantilli has his head up, it might not even be a penalty.

There has already been 2 blowouts in the WJC. were the Czechs and Sweden bad for running up the score. There is nothing a team can do if the other team is no match. They have to keep playing. Sitting the top 2 lines would also be embarassing to Germany.
