That sentiment always comes up in blowouts. I prefer that they keep playing to their ability.Canada needs to stop![]()

I feel sorry for the German kids... penalized for an over-reaching rule...
It's tough, though. You can't stop playing. Not sure how to handle it.absolutely.
this'll come back to get 'em.

I don't know BUT Forsberg had 10 against Japan and this might be close6 points for Bedard so far.... what's the record for points in a game for a Canadian?
Yup. Happened with the Michigan BS.absolutely.

Because Germany lost 0:1 against Sweden? There is a reason teams like Austria and Germany should not be allowed to compete at this level

The German player never left his feet. There was no attempt to hit the head. If Fantilli has his head up, it might not even be a penalty. From my perspective the penalty was too harsh, but Germanies PK is too weak (even though Team Canada's PP is brutal).
There has already been 2 blowouts in the WJC. were the Czechs and Sweden bad for running up the score. There is nothing a team can do if the other team is no match. They have to keep playing. Sitting the top 2 lines would also be embarassing to Germany.Bad hockey from Germany. Very, very bad.
But bad spirit from Canada too. Running up the game on an opponent that is several tiers below you and is down two players.
