Ya, I don't get the people celebrating his beating up on weak teams after an embarrassing 1st game for the team
Irrelevant crap. It doesn't matter WHERE his head is. It's the hitters responsibility to avoid contact to the head.right.
but when you sake with your head at shoulder level....
that's the problem with the rule.
gonna have a bunch of children running around the ice with their head down because "should to head".
If you skate into the middle with your head down that far the first point of contact will usually be the head whether it be a dirty elbow or someone trying to make a legitimate hit........
That is why the IIHF rules are dumb..... the german kid could have actually given him a serious head injury if he maliciously tried to knock him out....but instead he tried to make shoulder contact but the heads contacted first. Such a dumb penalty
