Brisson confirms that EP40 dealt with injury which prevented him from Off-season Training.

Outside of maybe one or two posters, I don't really see all the Petey hate? Generally I see reasonable discussion regarding the nuances of Petey's injury, recovery and poor play. It would be better for the general quality of discourse on here if we can just focus on the merits of the reasonable views put forth, rather than overgeneralize, sensationalize and strawman the opposing side's views. If it frustrates you to discuss or debate the minutiae of this topic, for whatever reason, then just don't partake in the discussion or debate.

I honestly find the whole thing to be quite disheartening.

I am not a medical practitioner either, but I did and probably still have patellar tendinitis, and the tendon was shown to be inflamed on a MRI of my knee. So, presumably - and I say this with zero qualification or expertise - an MRI is relatively conclusive since it should should whether the tendon is inflamed or not.
Nelson to Foley

Copenhagen

The professional player agent's post positively perforates the putridly pusillanimous petterhate permeating the pedantic prose perceived by all participants in this place.

C'mon, tawksy.
What part of brevity is the soul of toxicyness do you not understand

PS I am PO'd you pulverized me in palliteration. Pamn you. Pamn you to Pell!

Yes, I have heard his books are good. I actually haven't watched any movie on Nelson. I have learned about him through several different podcasts. Incredibly interesting man.
Pope's Ramage series is ok. Pope's England Expects is a must read (non-fiction account of Trafalgar). As an aside, there are parallels to what Nelson did against the combined fleet, to what Adm Holland did at Denmark Straits when Hood blew up. Holland's mistake being to lead with Hood rather than PoW, while Nelson and Collingwood rightly led with Victory and Royal Sovereign.

The Hornblower books are decent. Hotspur is imo the best in that series

O'Brian blows them all out of the water. So many incredible moments. The one that always hits home is the beginning of The Surgeon's Mate, as Shannon enters Halifax Harbour with the Union Jack flying over Cheasapeake's stars and stripes. Absolutely unbelievable writing, made all the more poignant knowing the fates of Lawrence and Broke.

This International Tourney is actually very important.

1. One it'll get him going and hopefully he gets out of his head
2. Increase Trade Value

He ain’t getting going with that skating.

My god, watching some of the best players play and then watching Pettersson …….that was brutal.

I’m pretty sure he needs to fire his new “power skating” coach because it ain’t working.

To be an elite player you have some combination of size, strength, speed and skill.

EP116 is very very smart, but doesn’t have the other requirements to be elite. He was successful when he had skill and speed but that’s pretty much over

Now he is a weaker, small framed, slow but skilled player. I don’t think that you can be elite with that.

Well that was a crappy showcase.

Don't think we'll win any tough playoff series with this dude let alone the cup. Hopefully management is giving it a serious thought in trading Pettersson.

One step back to make two steps forward. I think our ice is getting better, seems like they made some new plant upgrades. Part of the reason we've been seeing good hockey is we can defend playing fast thanks to Hughes.

It's the opportunity of being able to plop Paul Coffey onto the 2000-1 Devils. That's the tantalizing, frustrating little wriggle. As the ice gets better, the team will improve. But sooner or later the moisture and heat is a-comin'.

You're right. I do remember him denying it at some point though, end of season maybe? (Not yet willing to concede it wasn't just an ultra-realistic dream, lol)
Ha, yeah. I think he acknowledged it in a dismissive way, is what it was. Pretty clear there's some kind of disconnect, anyway.

The correct move is to quickly get rid of him somehow right now, even if we lose badly in the deal. Otherwise we risk losing Hughes because his 11.6 million contract does not give any room to fix this teams problems. It is a huge risk waiting for him to turn around by putting all hopes on that it is all JT millers fault and his minor "tendonitis" where he played a full season and is now playing in 4 nations.

If our manager is confident.

Then yes we deal him.

I was just asking you to clarify if you were saying that he was still injured.
I dont know.

Is there a massive difference to you between:
- Him being currently dealing with a injured knee that is making him a subpar skater
- Him feeling the after effects of a summer where he could not train effectively because of the injured knee and is causing him to now be a subpar skater

Because I am as sure as I can be, with out seeing his medical records and his fitness testing numbers, that its one or the other.

Not sure if allowed to post the big rumor that went around on Twitter/Reddit but it's allowed to stay on the LA board, so maybe it's allowed to stay here too? Mods can delete if not

Who knows if it's true but it sounds plausible
Wtf .. "Who know if its true but it sounds plausible" And you posting that qoute here for real, and its allowed to stay?. Where are the mods? Its slander in its purest form.

No matter if he is gay or not. You think Pettersson, an introvert from the Swedish outback, is going to be the first open gay player ever in the NHL (the most homofobic of environments (pro-team sports)) , and on top of that have fun and play great hockey?? Lol.

Well I said if they want to remove it they can, and seems like it's fine to stay. If you don't like their decision you can apply to be a mod instead

The rumor has nothing to do with anyone being gay. It specifically says that rumor is not true. Pettersson has a (semi-famous) girlfriend that he brings to Canucks events anyways so it's a moot point.

This rumor isn't really about Pettersson at all and no one's slandering your hero here, it's about the incidents that JT Miller allegedly did that got him kicked off the team for a month that apparently pissed off his coaches, teammates, and owner, and then got him traded away.

So Dhaliwal went on radio Wednesday morning with Drance and was pretty emphatic about the injury not being an issue anymore.

He talked about the agent admitting the knee was a problem in the off-season when it came to training but it's not anymore.

Yet his skating still looks jank. So I don't really understand...

(I'm not an injury denier per se, I'm just really confused as to what's going on)

You are still reposting slander no matter have you twist and turn it. I have been a hf-boarder for years. This is the first time I have read anything about any players supposed sexual behaviour on this site.. Xtremely odd that it is still there and on the Vancouver fan-page to boot..

Well it's deleted by the mods now so that's the end of this discussion
