Another vote for the g35.

Best headset I've ever had for gaming. Audio quality is very good, and the mic is really clear, too, from what I'm told.

I still think that the actual gameplay is fantastic. My buddy and I play head to head constantly and it is a ton of fun.

But everything else is not so good. I don't like having to manually adjust every line and every scenario in HUT. Last year you could automatically adjust, no? Be a pro is trash. Can't believe they haven't patched some of that, oh well.

They didn't even bother to put "Sim to next shift" in be a pro. What do they think I have unlimited amounts of free time to have my player get 20 minutes of ice time and watch the other 40 minutes?

The gameplay is very nice but the game as a whole is an abomination compared to Madden, FIFA and NBA2K. They skipped next gen in 2014 to prepare for NHL 15 and totally botched it. I understand they have a much smaller development team but come on. NHL 16 better be up to par with the rest of the sports games.

Yeah, I'm waiting for NHL 16. As much as I want this one, especially since I have an X1 now and my last NHL game was '12, I'm not supporting the '15 version at all.

A place.
Man, Mass Effect 3 goes FAST when you're trying to accumulate as few war assets as possible.

And my readiness rating is sure taking its sweet time decaying down to the 50% where I want it.

Otherwise my construction of the universe from hell is going nicely, with two alterations I've thrown in:
[spoil]1: I changed my mind about who I saved on Virmire and saved Ashley and took the ME1 romance with her to its conclusion. Why? I figure it makes my character even more evil if he has to kill his ex-GF on the way to gunning down Udina in Priority: Citadel II rather than gunning down an old comrade. She had some choice words for ******* Shepard as she died.

And 2: I changed my endgame plan for ME2 because something I had not known about regarding mordin became known to me: in the universe I was constructing, he has a chance to live. So instead of leaving Jack, Tali, and Mordin behind to hold the line in ME2 while taking Miranda and Morinth, I took Morinth and Jack, leaving Tali, Miranda, and Mordin to hold the line. The result was Tali and Miranda died while Mordin lived due to being the only loyal character in a party of three that was destined to have one survivor, meaning Mordin came out on top. I am happy to say that the Worst Universe Ever has a live Mordin running around like a hamster on speed at the crucible construction site.

Us crazy engineers gotta look out for eachother, after all. The guy's a genius, and even crazy space racist shepard can enjoy the company of a crazy and brilliant salarian, especially when he's ballsy enough to offer up unsolicited sex advice regarding potential romance partners.

So there's my ******* Shepard's one token good deed. He's probably gonna die in the crucible blast anyway, but he's never gotten that far in any of my other playthroughs.

So far I have 1100 effective war assets and I just killed Ashley and Udina and am now on my way to murder the quarians. If my readiness would hurry up and decay faster, it would be 700. Shooting for 1749 or below.

I let the bomb go off on Tuchanka, that killed off a lot of Krogan support. And I let the fake rachni queen join the team. That will backfire for a 100 war asset loss sometime in the next few missions. I don't think I get any more mandatory war asset additions after I deal with the quarians and geth, so I should be sitting right around 1700 when I get to earth, and hopefully even less due to readiness rating decay so I can do a few more missions for bonus XP. ******* Shepard is only level 40 something. Usually I'm in the high 50's.

And the Engineer is actually a LOT more fun in 3 than it was in 2 or 1. a LOT more fun. Explosions a-plenty.[/spoil]

I think nhl 15 is a joke. I'm in a gm connected we've done annually since it was introduced with 8 others. This years game play has gone down dramatically. One of my friends scored 300 goals with Malkin in one season. I beat one guy 12-1 and played a back to back against him and got beat 7-6 the next game. Sane move from inside the blue line is about a gaurenteed goal. I'm not a fan at all. In nhl 14 all our head to head games were 3-2 clammy palm showdowns

Unfortunately, it seems the development team of NHL has no idea how to make a proper sports game.

Whether that's up to the team as a whole, or the production heads, is a mystery.

NHL has a very small dev team & budget compared to EA's best sports sellers FIFA and Madden

So release it on PC as a baseline product & let modders have a go. Jersey templates, FIFA BAP style player growth on EASHL, custom team creators, arena creator, league editor. Better roster management tools, so we're not stuck with either a decent BGM player ratings (thanks to Revamped team) OR ability to create your own team/players (for example, college prospects). Unfortunately, that'll never happen.

Dumba did a AMA on twitter today though the Wild's handle and I asked who is better at NHL 15, him or Brodin?

Dragon Age: Inquisition is still probably my GOTY of 2014. Just a fantastic game from top to bottom. I've killed most of the Dragons - and almost all of them were cool. The characters and settings are just great. The story itself is fun, and the references and call backs to the original game are well executed and a blast to see and experience.

Also playing a lot of Geometry Wars 3D, which is a great game as well. I've gotten some pretty high rankings on some of the leaderboards, and in one I'm ranked #213 in the world so that's cool.

But then I compare it to one of my friends and he's top-10 in the world in probably 75% of the levels/games.

Assassin's Creed: Unity starts off pretty slow. I snagged it for ~$15 a week or so back and have only played the introduction so far but I'm not really digging it that much yet. It's kind of fun to have the series go back to its roots and take place in only one city rather than a bunch of islands like Black Flag, but it's also taking forever to actually get to where the story kicks off.

In the closed beta for World of Warships. Game looks fairly promising so far, nice arcade-style world war II ship battles. Now that the NDA is lifted it's okay for people to stream it and post footage of it.

Uuhhh, what? Wouldn't that make him one of the best defenseman in the game?

Yeah, something really ****y was going on with my NHL 15 on Xbox One. Had to completely reset my Xbox. He was bouncing from like 91 to 88 to 84, and now he's back to 78.

Everytime I'd take a penalty in an online game, it'd bring me back to the NHL 15 menu screen. EA....

What's up with the rankings on their game either? I thought they were doing dynamic rankings that'd they'd update every month. In no world should Scandella be a 79 and Dumba a 75. Not to mention, Dubnyk is still a frickin 81... Makes it so hard to play them online. And I can't stand HUT because everyone has Crosby, Malkin, Stamkos, Lemieux, etc. while here I am rocking Koivu on my top line.

I haven't played too much yet, but it is kind of a slow start. I've loved most of them so far (except 3) and always look forward to them. I think I've gotten a little burned out though, as I have had little excitement for Unity and now barely played it. Certainly some big improvements though, specifically "climbing down" or whatever you want to call it.

So anyone done any GTA Heists yet? Been trying to do them but no one reliable found as of yet.

My friend has done some and he says they're really fun. I sold it a while ago because I got bored, and he was going to do the same, but he said it's worth getting again for them.

I did one the night it came out (as in around midnight the day of, before all of the kiddies got on and ruined the servers). It was just the tutorial heist, but it was still fun. It's nice to buy a $200,000 apartment to be able to lead heists and nearly bankrupt yourself, and then make it all back in one heist.

But yeah it was a little hard to get into a game with someone. Such is GTA Online though. I'm waiting for the PC version to come out so I can play with my friend.

NHL 15 is the only game I can truthfully say that not only do I want my money back, but I deserve my money back. What a worthless game.

I found the game mode which I found to be tolerable, and that is the completely stripped-down Be a GM. Played all 82 regular season games with the Wild on hardest difficulty, finished something like 77-4-1. Won the cup in 16 games if I remember correctly. Then I just let that game be, it has nothing anymore for me, but I wanted to get my moneys worth of the game. Can't wait for NHL 16, it has to be better than 15. I mean there's only way to go from here and it's up.

According to insider information, NHL 16 only has one game mode, and that is the HONDA XPERIENCE (c) THE STANLEY CUP FINALS - Powered by Comcast. It features whichever teams make the Cup Finals, has no adjustable difficulties or line changes and a period length is fixed to 3 minutes. In case the game ends in a tie, you go directly into a shootout, where EA can show off their Total Stick Control (c). It allows you to control the stick with PS Move or Kinect, but requires a special EA Authenstick, available at a merchant near you for a reasonable price of $129.99*

*Stick tape not included, available as a skin-pack in various colors for $19.99/roll.

Of course, the Total Stick Control is only usable by star players, marked with a special star that marks them as true star players, the stars of the team. With them, you can pull off incredible moves that might look similar to the ones that have been in game since 2007, but don't be fooled - the all-new animations increase their efficiency by up to 1.25%!

Of course, the shootout seldom comes into play, because at the start of the game, the opposite goalie gets mysteriously injured due to falling through the ice into nothingness, and the backup goalie gets stuck trying to leave the bench, because the pads won't fit through the opening. This causes multiple fast calculations which overheat the system, causing it to spontaneously burst into flames.

And people would still buy it.
