It's certainly tight, neither is landing clean. Nunes might have the slight edge. If I were her I'd take it down in the 5th to make sure though.

That's okay, I've always been of the opinion that to get the belt you have to clearly beat the champ. Shevchenko just had to do a lot more to seal the deal and she didn't.

I agree with Val. Thought she landed the more significant strikes. So what you took her down. Did you actually do anything with it? Can't stand when they give a fighter a round for a takedown. To me, if you do nothing with it, it's nothing but stalling and thus shouldn't count in your favor. Oh well... being that close, though, bring them back for another, I guess... clearly the 2 best women in the division anyways...

Nah it was a PPV. I don't think it was a bad card at all personally, there was 5 or 6 fights I was looking forward to on it. From a more casual point of view not a lot of star power though, I can see how it could seem that way.

wow that would have been free back in the UFC prime, how disappointing. I guess I've given up on the UFC if thats a paid card, yikes. Nunes as a headliner? She's awful at the best of times.

Technically the Demetrious Johnson fight was supposed to be the main event so it was more of a co-headline thing in Nunes defense. There are expecting pretty dismal buy rates from what I hear, well bellow 800 000 buys.
