Don't think Kane will be going. He said he's still not 100% from the hand injury he suffered earlier in the year.

For those fretting about Bozak.... for what its worth, at this very point in time, I would take him over Kadri for the Worlds.
This is probably the only season that it will be true, but he was definitely better than Kadri this season, and his style is probably better suited to big ice as he has a strong stride, good mobility

It's extremely early.. like 1/4th the team has officially accepted invites. I'm sure some bigger names will pop up. And it's not like this tournament is ever star studded. It's about coming together as a team. Our 'scrubs' are still better skillwise than almost every other team in the tournament.
He's been banged up for a while.
The good news is you don't need a lot of star power to win at this thing, you just need good coaching with a game plan and have guys motivated and buy in and you can do well.That and a goalie who can make some saves when needed.
As long as you get that the players Canada can throw in here even in a down year can win. They are all NHL players after all, Sweden did not have a lot of stars last year and won, no reason we can't as long as the guys want to play their roles and play them well in a good system laid out by a coach who get's it.

Really, Bozak got an invite and no Little. No surprise I guess. Little got snubbed as a 31 goal scorer for a losing Canada team, now he has 64 points and a plus 8 on the Winnipeg freakin Jets, and no invite. Unless he shot it down, but that would likely have been news. Skinner is an even bigger surprise if he has not received anything. At least take the best team possible. Just stupid
It seems as if invites are being extended, but as most on these forums expected from an Olympic year, they're being shot down at a high rate.
However, this roster so far does indeed look odd to say the least.

Brouwer is a much better skater than most people give him credit for and he will do just fine on the big ice.

Ya, this Skoda Invitational tournament is shaping up to be even worse than I thought.
