Days Gone was fun

Kingdoms of Amalur - was very good, though it shows it's age a good bit now, played the remaster a few months ago after playing the original on XB360

Edith Finch had an interesting story and was a nice little "walking sim"

Control was highly thought of by many, I played through about 3/4 of it and threw in the towel, didn't do it for me

PGA 2K - nice little golf game to pick up and play a round or two, obviously not a lot of depth or storyline there, but it looks and plays nice

Guardians of the Galaxy - PS5 - very enjoyable thus far, enemies can be bullet sponges though

Condemned 2 - Started replaying on the XB360 a few days ago when wife & kid wanted to watch Disney+ on main tv, shows it's age a bit but still enjoying it, wish they would remaster or continue the series, thought it was very underrated

Hollow Knight is my favorite of that list. It's a masterpiece.

I started playing Desperados III. I didn't really know much about the game going in, I'm not even a fan of RTS games but I am hooked. It's not a traditional RTS where you grow an army, build a base, and manage resources. This is you control a small group of specialized characters as you stealth move through a western setting to complete your objectives. You'll fail a lot, the game constantly reminds you to quick save because you'll fail a lot, but it's a ton of fun. It's almost as much puzzle game as it is strategy.

I decided to try out a Forza Horizon game for the first time and figured that I'd start with 3, even though the graphics may be a bit dated at this point. How wrong I was. These graphics are incredible with everything dialed up to Ultra and no noticeable pop-in or LOD changes. It's hard to believe that there are two newer games in the series that presumably have even better graphics.

I'm also playing The Last Cube, which is a really good puzzle game. You move a cube across levels, pick up "stickers" on the faces of the cube as you land on them and then use those stickers to activate buttons. You have to figure out the order of buttons to activate and how to align the faces of your cube. It's a good mental exercise and can be played for as little as 10 minutes at a time.

I always liked FH3 more because of Australia.

Twisted Metal Black is one of my favorite games of all-time! The video sequences for each character are so badass, I remember getting chills and freaked out watching some of them when the game came out (I was 9 going on 10, so it was freaky!)

Of course, the more that we hype it up, the more that people are liable to have too high expectations and end up disappointed. So, with that mind, definitely do not play Subnautica, Ceremony.

Twisted Metal Black is one of my favorite games of all-time! The video sequences for each character are so badass, I remember getting chills and freaked out watching some of them when the game came out (I was 9 going on 10, so it was freaky!)

I’ve lost count of how many hours I’ve put into The Witcher now. I still have so much to do. There is going to to be a huge void in my life after finishing this game.

This is probably the best game I’ve ever played. I never thought I would find another game that would have me engaged in the story as much as the KOTOR series.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Went in basically completely blind so I’m still confused about some stuff, but I’ve played about four hours and it’s engaging, goofy, and relatively challenging(on intense difficulty) so far. Having a great time. Probably will put 4-6 more hours in tonight. Maybe more this weekend when the baby is napping lol.
