He has zero actual goals.
Too simple?
Hey if this winds up starting his next long term deal with a 5....
Granted he would probably wisely do 3x5.5 or something in that case.
He has zero actual goals.
Too simple?
Shocking.......I disagree, and this is the kind of thing that adds to the stigma of mental health issues.
Hey, can we say this about Jake? How about, whatever is going on with him, if anything, he isn't playing to his potential. He made a nice pass to set up the goal last night, but was pretty much invisible the rest of the time. He has been pretty much invisible offensively so far this season. He has been playing solid defensive hockey for the most part, and is doing his job competently on the PK. But he is a top 6 forward that is there to score some goals and create offense. He is not a third line grinder, but he is playing like one. He can be better, and I hope he starts to pick up his play soon. The Bruins are not blessed with a abundance of offensive weapons this season, and IMO they need Jake to be on point for long-term success.
Too simple? depends on what your using that statement to talk to. People are freaking out because DeBrusk doesn't have a goal yet. We've seen people with a wide range of speculation as to why he hasn't scored yet. If I look at the numbers its not for a lack of trying (though I'd like to see him with more shots) and could be as simple as just being a little unlucky. If he was bottom of the pile for the Bruins in things like chances, high danger chances, expected goals, then I'd be more concerned that there was an actual problem.
Zacha is a perfect example. People were questioning him because he had 1pt in the first 5 games. His underlying numbers actually were pretty good despite the results not showing on the scoresheet. Fast forward and he has 5 points in his last 4 games.
You need to get the dance and linus gets us there he has playoff troubles and its frustrating if it continues play sway.Didn't you call him a choker like 2 games ago?
Edit: No, it was "He's mentally weak"
You're all over the place and sometimes I wonder if you even know what you're saying half the time.
Has he ever?
But... like you're saying never trade him and that he's the Bruins MVPYou need to get the dance and linus gets us there he has playoff troubles and its frustrating if it continues play sway.

It would be the same here if a Bruin got taken out.At least Chucky lives rent free on the panthers board now. They are doing all but wishing death on him over there.
difference is zacha looks like he is tryingToo simple? depends on what your using that statement to talk to. People are freaking out because DeBrusk doesn't have a goal yet. I use ESPN + so I can watch the opponents broadcast. I literally can't stand listening to him anymore.
But I would argue Zacha looked like he was playing well (because he was) before he started putting up points.
Can't say that about Debrusk.
Too early to point out that Swayman has outplayed him so far this season (very early I know), both on the stats sheet, and by the eye test?I don't wanna hear any linus trade proposals. Ever. Mvp of team last year and looks like this year too.
Jake publicly acknowledged that he struggled with his mental health during COVID. And his play is totally inconsistent, like it was then, so it's not a huge stretch to make that connection. You're right that we just don't know, but this isn't something just out of the blue. Here we go again. First it was Jake had a drinking problem, now he's having mental health issues. Just because some posters think he should be playing better. This is really irresponsible to just fling things around like this (and I know you are responding to someone who dropped the mental issues first).

Haha! I think I scared @Kovi because as soon as Zacha got the puck going the other way in OT, I jumped up off the couch. There may have been a few fist pumps right after the goal as well.My cat involuntarily jumped off my lap as Zacha scored the goal in OT. Of course my screaming Goal had nothing to do with it. Glad to report he was right back after a quick lap to the food bowl.
I personally love Bennett & the way he playsBennett plays with a recklessness, put him in the category of Clutterbuck and Ovechkin, while I won`t celebrate injury to anyone, there are a few I cry no tears over, he is one
Gutsy win, Chuckie likely to get a few games and he should. I try to look at these things from the point of view that if the roles were reversed and it was a Bruin taking that hit, would I call for a suspension for a targeted hit and my answer on this was was yes
Depth gonna get tested again this year early on
well, he isn`t on the B`s so I`m choosing to hate himI personally love Bennett & the way he plays
Classic love/hate player. If he was on the B's he'd be loved around here.
As someone who has had some battles with mental health, I fully disagree with you, and appreciate people being willing to take note of the *possibility* of such a struggle, and making the connection that it can affect your job performance. Criticizing someone who brings it up does more to stigmatize it than noting it.I disagree, and this is the kind of thing that adds to the stigma of mental health issues.
