 Will ovi get a call??? Because if that were Brad he would.

Carlo probably has a concussion .

The B's can not lose any more players.

I yelled at # 8..You beat the B's but you will NEVER will the cup.

That's hilarious! Did he hear you?

If Marchand did half of that nonsense today, he'd be banned for 20 games. Ovi does it and hey, he tried to hold up. lol

Seriously, I don't get this at all. How did Ovi not get tossed from the game, or at least a five minute boarding penalty?

Talk about no consistency.

Dotchkin at least was able to play later in the game after Marchand speared him, but Carlo was done for the afternoon after that hit. Yet Ovi gets to keep on playing while Marchand sits.

Like I said in the Marchand thread yesterday, had he got him in the legs instead of the sensitive area, it would have been a 2 minute for slashing. Or in the abdomen, it would have been a 2 minute penalty.

I don't like what Marchand did, but come on.......this is getting ridiculous.

Tom Wilson with one last cheap shot at the end. Laughing the whole game. I hope the Bruins menstrual cramps are over by the start of the series.

Thank God we didn't call up Randell and/or Blidh for this game --I really hate it when our team can ice a 4th line that respond to the physical play of the other team's 4th line!

In fairness, surely we had no idea that Tom Wilson and crew would be running our guys all game.... if only there was some way that we could have seen that coming!

I think he did. He was right in front of me and I yelled loud.

I don't think he gives a **** though.

Kevan Miller was pissed. If the B's weren't so short handed I think Killer would have gone at him. He was really giving it to Ovi and the guys in stripes got between them.

I know what you mean. Why, Bergeron looks like Matt Cooke, compared to the angel that is Tom Wilson. I guess now Wilson won't win the Lady Byng. :( :(

If we draw Washington Cassidy better be smarter about putting some snarl into the lineup.

Can't do much about the scoreboard, we are on way different levels, but having guys getting cheap and laughing in the penalty box is not ok.

Kevan probably remembers when Ovi did the same thing to him.

I thought the hit on C.Millar was brutal to .Mllar, was just lucky to avoid most of the hit because he went down,Cap layer would have put his head through the boards if he didn't.

I am worried about Brandon :( Hated to see him injured like that.

It looked like Carlo was being hooked by Ovi, then lost his balance and Ovi made sure to push his face into the glass.

If a Bruin would've done that, it would've no doubt resulted in a major penalty followed by a suspension the next day.

It seems like the guys in stripes have been Ovi's best friends for quite awhile now.

You pretty much called this Colt, Washington's dirtbags taking liberties with Bruins, firing the first shots in a potential war of attrition. So Boston loses a Top 4 D in Carlo, and are lucky they didn't lose another capable NHL D in Colin Miller on the Beagle hit.

Ovi is a big guy and he hits hard. Does he ever fight ? IMO some of his hits are borderline dirty.

No, he has only fought 3 times and that last one was back in 2010 when he lost to Dubinsky. He would get destroyed by Miller.

Don't know about fighting, but here is a video of Bergy hitting him. :)

I'd be shocked if he fought Miller. But I sure would love to see it.

No Capital player would let that happen.

This happened a few days ago. Look how many Capitals look to grab Anderson.

Carlson and Wilson both try to grab him while Ovi throws a punch. I particularly love Ovi mocking Anderson bleeding like he is a tough guy hiding behind his teammates.

Want you hear something even more sad about that play? Anderson received a double minor for that and the Capitals ended up with a PP.

I've said it about ten times today, but this is yet another reason why I will never be an ovechkin fan.

My fear this year is that the final will be Caps vs Hawks. Then it will all be about "the great 8" finally winning something, or the Hawks "dynasty." :shakehead

I actually don't blame them one bit --it is really smart on their part.

It isn't their fault that Boston iced a line-up that Washington could (and did) take physical advantage of.

Nope, put the shoe on the other foot and we'd be praising the Bruins for getting early licks in on a potential 1st round opponent.

While I don't like either the OV hit or the Beagle hit, from a Washington standpoint makes total sense why they would take liberties with the Bruins.

We wouldn't blame our players but I doubt we'd expect our players to take two boarding major penalties.
