I like Roush Honda customers..... :)

That said, I'll be at the final game in Buffalo.... I hope the Jackets beat the crap out of Eichel....

And for any Sabre fans here, I'm all in for the CBJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would we want to beat the Sabres? Literally doesn't help out long term future at all buffalo is ahead of us only a little in the standings

No one got hurt, the kid's got game time, we lost, and Joey didn't torch us.
That's about as good as it gets at this point.
On to the next one.

There is a small rivalry with the Sabres.... Older fans know the issues in Nationwide...

I was also opposed to Sabre tanking last season for the so called "generational" draft pick... I'm not sure Eichel is that guy but he's doing quite well for an average top 2 pick with 23 goals and 50 points so far.... Is he Perreault or Gretzky??? I doubt it but we will see, I hope we shut him down on April 8th!!!!!!!!

Not much more than shed some veterans and bring up some kids.

Specifically, these veterans should be gone: Bourque, MacEilhinney, Tyutin, Boll, Hartnell and maybe Campbell. We MIGHT get one decent NHL player from that lot. Dubinsky should be captain next season.

"Come and watch us grow"??? Let's see some players that are growing instead of regressing.

Trust me I remember the Sabres games and the horns/ "Let's Go Buff-a-lo" chants

I blogged for Foligno to be Captain.... He's not been the player of past but one season is short.... Give him a season with a well designed team under Torts.... I hope Torts runs the team to be honest.... get rid of the current GM, the guy is NHL clueless imo...

Not a popular opinion but look for options to trade Foligno could work too. Maybe to a team like NJD. If we get let's say 8-11 pick would you package it with Clarkson for like a 2nd?

Trust me - I came THIS CLOSE to typing that. I'm going to hope this was just a bad season for him.

The Jackets arent a good team that got off to a bad start. The Ducks were a good team that got off to a rough start and are going to the playoffs, we're just a bad team, and a cap team to boot. What a ****** front office

Yup. I wish him no ill will personally. Just glad for the trade and that we have Jones.

Ditto on this. As much as I wanted him to be traded and was sick of his floating I'm not rooting against him now. All I'm worried/caring about is how Jones performs. And so far I've been impressed.

I was when he first got here, but I think his play has fallen off a cliff in the past month or so.

Dubinsky was asked if he felt badly for Jones: "Absolutely. We owed it to him to have a good game. Anytime you come back to your old team -- obviously, I've been there -- you want to play well, and your teammates owe it to you to play well. God, nobody played well tonight, except for Korpi and maybe Boone in spurts. Not even close."

It's going to take years to clean up the mess that they've created. I don't think this team has a snowball's chance in hell of making the playoffs next season.

I have to say...I am more pessimistic abut next year's team than I have ever been about this team. I was so excited when JD came here but I really think they have crapped the bed. This team is in a bad way. Unless Jarmo can find a way to move three or four big contracts on older guys we are screwed.
