For all the heat our D gets around here, they cleared the crease very well for Mac to see everything and controling rebounds. Great all around effort by everyone. Victory deserved. Also a great game by Calvy and Cam.

No, I think he's still bitter about trading Luongo to make room for future HOF goalie DiPietro Finally a borderline call goes our way in a crucial game! That was CBJ hockey even without the Bob in net. If they can keep momentum going with a wounded Pens team coming to town things will look brighter by the weekend!

I'd post, but I've prematurely jumped off the cliff.

I was really concerned about McElhinney, but he looked very good and composed out there. Good on JK and JD for seeing that and sticking with him when I probably would have gone after someone more expensive.

NYI lit up Carolina. Looks like the team is in a groove so that's at least a consolation.

One more thing, should Richards swap Prout out for Nikitin? Prout looked pretty gassed and missed a number of pucks through the legs, but that would force the team to go back to Johnson / Savard and Nikitin / Schultz which is... eh...
