He's better than this when he's happy. I said it a couple games ago and caught shit for it but he was pouting on the bench. I don't care if it upsets some here to hear that.

Trading for Pinto would be a good "bet" lol.

Yep, attitude is everything with him. Not sure if it’s a chicken/egg debate though. Is it the attitude that causes the shit performances, or the shit performances that cause the attitude?

Monty shouldn't leave the room until he sees paint peeling off the wall. Can't have that kind of effort late in the game and in OT.
Agreed, they looked like a different team in OT, gassed, gave it up, Linus deserved better. Of course they were going to lose eventually, but the late effort(or lack there of) was worrying  now I have to get my tired old self to bed.

back from the game

where the Bs had a number of chances to put the Ducks away, let them hang around and it of course came back to bite them. Back from an extended trip and except for a few minutes in the second period they didn't have their legs and they also looked like their focus was in and out.

they have been winning but it's often been with smoke and mirrors so hopefully this is a wake- up call before three tough teams at home in Det- Fla- Leafs.

So weird to have Heinen sitting around while Brown and Boqvist are getting games. He's not great, but he's better than they are. He certainly doesn't take that stupid ass penalty. Plenty of blame to go around, but they gave that point to a team that desperately needs another lottery pick. Yuck.

Ducks have some really good young talent up front in Carlsson, McTavish,Terry & Zegras. Carlson looks like he is going to be a top 5 center in the NHL.

So f***ing rude. I'd give it a while but call the cops to complain anonymously. It's ignorant. If you tap on her window she may go postal so better not to approach her.

She finally stopped. An hour and 8 minutes later. I timed it. She does this at 8am every morning before work and multiple times after. Her brother does the same. Smokes his weed in his car outside my window blasting music. It's disgusting.

I'm telling you, if I can hear and FEEL the music from inside my house while I have the air on, tv on, and my air purifier on. It's LOUD. The police came once over the summer when she legitimately had it on for 2 hours, someone from the street behind us called. She was apologetic. And behaved for awhile. But this month she's back to doing it. I'm not trying to be a jerk. I don't care if you listen to music. But my goodness. The girl is gonna go deaf.

I couldn't even watch the game. In retrospect, the game was just as annoying as she was lol

Sketchy. What happens when JVR comes back down to earth and Poitras has a cold spell.

This board will lose their f***ing minds, per usual.

Shades of the playoffs against the Panthers. This game brought back bad memories. It took me weeks to get over the fact that Monty rode Ullmark like a lame mule in the playoffs, when he had a healthy Swayman on the bench. Ullmark just not able to get it done in crunch time, just like the playoffs. Swayman is now the #1 goalie. He's looked great. It's his time. His play looks much improved as well this year.

Jake is starting to whine and act like a baby. Bruins are not going to re-sign him if this continues. Would you? He should re-focus his brain and start playing his best in a contract year. Pull his head out of his a**. He's not producing so far. He has 0 Goals, 2 assists in 6 games.

I've been saying it for a while. BRING UP MASON LOHREI. He earned it!!! He'll give the D a dynamic presence with size and offensive flair. Would you rather have Mitchell or Gryz? I want the kid. Am I overreacting? LOL. Probably.....

Halloween nightmares.

Find out what annoys her.

They're going to be in tough Saturday against Detroit. They will have their hands full
with the RW speed.
Ya I knew about the Detroit game but for some reason I thought Toronto was the game after that but it's stupid Florida.

Amazing what a difference a few minutes can make in hockey. 5 mins to go in regulation, the Bruins were cruising 3-1 up, really should have been 4-1 if Pasta had buried one of his good chances, and they seemed to have things well in hand. Had the game ended with that score, or even 3-2, we’ve got a pretty quiet PGT filled with mostly positive comments. But a bad finish, compounded by a poor OT, and here we are.

A loss naturally gives cause for reflection and critique, and that’s useful as long as it’s constructive and points more towards ingrained, long-term issues rather than just the vagaries and lapses of a few short moments. And I think those issues have been identified here – the Bruins’ weakness up the middle, their struggles to withstand sustained pressure, play solid defense and clear their own zone when teams are really pressing, and their paucity of top 6 talent and offensive ability which makes it especially noticeable and problematic when a key guy like DeBrusk is cold.

We’ll see how those things shake out going forwards, see how the offense develops as the team hopefully becomes more settled and familiar with their roles and each other, see how an important piece like Zacha progresses in a role in which he remains unproven (and the early signs are at best mixed), see how this group handles stretches of games and likely higher-pressure scenarios against quality opposition which are just around the corner. We’re starting to get a picture of how it all looks, but as usual it’s good practice to wait ‘til Thanksgiving before making any firmer assessments.

For now, shake this one off and reset for Detroit.

Well, I mean 2/3 of that line is injured. That’s not their 4th line.
No but the concern becomes what is in Providence that Brown and Boqvist are up. They are both mediocre hockey players, Boqvist probably not even that.

What happened to all that veteran AHL depth they signed? How bad must Lysell and Merkulov be to not get called up over Boqvist?

Needs remain the same, top line center, physical, tough 4-6 D. New to the equation is poor leadership, I love Pasta but put the A on somebody more appropriate.

This is what happens when you lose #37,46 & 71.
