He's made some good defensive plays and being physical. A couple of miscues but I wouldn't categorize it as horrific.

Remember when players used to be called up from juniors on an emergency basis? I remember Patrice Brisebois called up as an 18 year old and played for Montreal against Boston, get that kid Dickinosn in for a game or two......

A lot of time hemmed in their own zone but they seemed to keep it to perimeter chances. Nice to get a few good saves when needed too

I understood that you were talking about the period and not his game in totality thus far.

I thought he was using his body effectively. He mishandled a pass that led to a turnover and then had the puck jump over his stick when he had a clear look. But later he made a nice hard shot that got to the net.

Maybe not as strong as his first period but describing it as horrific is a tad bit of an exaggeration.
