This is not just a NESN problem - It actually happens a bunch in sports broadcasting lately (but I’ve noticed it the most in the NHL).

I love Brad and I respect him a heck of a lot, and he deserved the C. But the lack of other veteran leadership is very glaring in times like this.

The roster itself is extremely soft, undersized, and lacking skill. Add in injury to Lindholm and two of the better players being goalies...

Leadership/coaching is only going to carry a team so far.
