that would be literal absolute bull shit. the leafs would have played 6 games in 10 days and would have to go onto face a rested jets team?

As if he's won a cup before. Oh, wait.
My favourite are people who play both sides of the fence. Forever complaining then wanna cheer when we win. Can’t have it both ways. You either believe in this team or you don’t. Make your choice now

Agreed. Like if you've already demanded a player be traded, no cheering for that player.
Which means everyone trashing Marner now can't cheer for Nylander, because I'm pretty sure they were trashing him when he had playoff struggles.
It will be a nice change for them to play the villain role at least.Hope they don't get too rattled by the fans at the Bell Centre. They already seem mentally vulnerable right now. Having failed to close out a series in 19 years and counting. Losing every elimination game with this core. And so on.
Guess they should have finished the Habs off a little quicker, like the Jets did to Edmonton.that would be literal absolute bull shit. the leafs would have played 6 games in 10 days and would have to go onto face a rested jets team?

That would indicate we'd have a 2 day break somewhere in there right? If we play Monday we'd go again on Wednesday. The league wants Toronto on Saturday so we'd get a couple days off there.
This doesn't matter too much if we advance tbh. In 2019 Boston went through a 7 game war against us and 2 days later had to play a rested CBJ who just swept TBL and felt on top of the world. The Bruins still won that series. We have no excuse to not do the same if we beat Montreal.

That's a consequence of not having and employing a killer instinct.
I've lost all faith we can close out this series. Don't mind me just a beaten down Leaf fan been supporting since mid 80's.
I'm almost certain if they lose there will be riots in this city.Logic tells me Leafs will win this, they're ultimately a far superior team. The Leaf fan in me tells me they'll find a way to lose and ultimately choke away the series in 7 games. I will be angry and depressed and revert back to hating everyone and want the core decimated.

Some of these other series are crazy intense and pretty awesome to watch. I do think the habs style is boring by nature and I do think Foligno would have helped in that regard but overall I was surprised and disappointed by the lack of fire and compete. It was the perfect time to come out hitting and battling and dishing it out and really making a statement, which is in their control. Instead, the leafs came out of the gates playing small and afraid not to mention lazy and sloppy. They did find some of their mojo in the 3rd. As it turns out too little too late. Very jekyl and hyde so far.The issue I see viewing some of the other series is the lack of intensity from this group.
Getting by the Habs should be given but the way they are going about it is troubling. They are far from looking explosive and dominant. Some of the most boring hockey I have ever seen in playoff action. From early analysis, no way we can beat those teams down south unless there is a dramatic reversal in their play. There just seems to be a lack of fire with this team.

At least Nuckle heads got a Stanley Cup final or two in the last 50 years.Let’s hope not, I don’t want us to be compared to nucks or habs fans
