If I didn't know any better I'd think the Leafs were losing 3-2 in the series. Some of the posters in this forum need to get a grip.

And for everyone else, stop buying into false narratives like, "good teams step on their opponents necks when they are down." Both Vegas and Carolina lost game 5 and the former lost game 5 and 6. Sometimes the better team loses, that's just hockey.

Logic tells me Leafs will win this, they're ultimately a far superior team. The Leaf fan in me tells me they'll find a way to lose and ultimately choke away the series in 7 games. I will be angry and depressed and revert back to hating everyone and want the core decimated.

If it makes you feel any better, neither feeling has any bearing on the outcome of the game.

Earlier in the week I had an impending sense of doom before game five. I do not have any similar feelings right now. Very confident the series will be over when I wake up in the morning.

Are you actually going to watch the game this time or check the score?
I’m just outside The Hague btw , where are you located?

I’m just going to peak in on the score. This teams past losses patterns in playoffs and the complete same thing yesterday completely turned me off.
If they lose this first round because they are chokers I won’t be watching again and will evaporate from this board. I’ve had it with half efforts and lack of killer instinct
After 4 decades of cheering for the Leafs it hard to be a Leaf fan some nights. I will probably alway cheer for them but I understand your frustration.
I find this core group very hard to like as players. They are greedy and self absorbed. I still like Keefe even though he has made some real head scratcher moves. I have very little faith in Dubas, the minute he got Tavares at 11 million I was concerned. As far as Shanny he is on the hot seat as well for hiring Dubas

When the Better team loses over and over year after year maybe they are actually not the better team

It pains me to like this so I can't but. this is exactly how I feel.

How did things turn out this way. back when i was a dumb teenager I thought the Leafs were amazing and would be back in the playoff hunt/win some series in no time. that was 17 years ago when i was 17.
Maybe thats why I think like you been let down half my life now lol

We have to end this now. and I can't think of a better place to do it in front of Montreal's rich fans. 12k for a ticket or some are 12k atleast lol

We have been suffering for a long time. some longer than others.
How old are you anyways?
After what we have been through I'm not surprised fans have their doubts.
I mean we all still believe Leafs can win this series, but there's going to ALWAYS be the Not this again thoughts.

I really hope we can put this one away early... I feel if we score the 1st goal we can pour it on with momentum right after...

I hope we score 3 in the first and choke the life out of them for the next 2 periods while scoring on the counter against their desperation.

I can't do it anymore with this team... I can't handle another game 7 yet alone another 1st round exit.. this one will be the most embarrassing one yet and take a huge step back for this cores confidence. We need to WIN!!.

There is nothing like watching the game live. Even if you watch the next morning, you right away can somehow figure out (because of the total time of the feed) if there will be OT or not.

Too many fans think like cobra kai "no merry" when you have a team down 3-1. They're playing a good team and have lost their captain, if I were a Habs fan I'd be upset if my team didn't take advantage.

It’s going to feel pretty f***ing good if they take the series tonight.
I wasn’t nervous last game but man is my stomach ever in knots today.
We’ve been through so much. Please win. Just one round at the very least.
