If we lost game 5 without all our vets we would be crying for some vet leadership today.

where was the vet leadership yesterday to close out game 5?

We all knew MTL would come out guns blazing. How many go arounds does this group need?

I predicted leafs in 6
I predicted OT yesterday

For tomorrow I fully expect a 5-1 win.

Foligno comes in and gets a goal, Dermott comes in for Sandin.

Road wins are easier in a sense, it's all business all day, no distractions.

We did overcome a 3 goal deficit, so that shows that this team has leadership. It was a lapse in judgment early in OT that cost us the game.

In the past, that type of thing would happen to us in a deciding game. At least we have 2 chances to make amends this time.

Why waste your time on a forum for a team you can’t stand and won’t even bother watching?
I’d rather enjoy the weather and pound beer and have fun. That sh!t was pathetic if you watched. Just p!sses anyone off. I’ll watch what i want when i want if i want.

I will watch game 7 for sure with these clowns

I thought Leafs in 5 pre-JT injury, Leafs in 7 post Foligno/JT injury

It'd be a great relief to end it tmr

I did not check the box scores but barely saw them on the ice.

I know JT still has a long way to fully recover but just to get Foligno back in the lineup would be a boost.

I'm excited for Saturday night.

I'm not afraid ... yet... but I'm paying attention.

Should be a heck of a game.

Need more from the top line Matthews included, Marner and Hyman have been dreadful though and frankly they don't have many good playoff performances to their names. Marner has gotten deserved flack, Hyman being a complete nonfacor has been ignored, I know he's had the injury excuse every season but no one being honest could call him any better than subpar. Hyman has evolved into a legitimate top 6 winger and needs to be held to that standard.

We have another crack at it on a Saturday night on Hockey Night in Canada at the Bell Centre with fans in attendance. If that doesn't get the boys jacked up to come out flying, nothing will.

Put Dermott back in and let's get back to playing the way we know we can.

Let's go!
I can’t imagine they will start any different. I’m at the point where I think it would take a stick of dynamite up their ass to get them going. If, and it’s a big if, they finally get past the first round, I can’t see them beating Winnipeg, let alone Tampa or Colorado.
I hated Babcock, and was so happy to see him go, but I do remember one of his sayings (and maybe lots of coaches said it), that the boys need to start on time.
If they let this one get away, ALL the pressure will be on them, and I’m not so sure that would be a good thing.

Just sit Thornton and be done with it.
Enough with this charity, it's getting to be embarrassing.
They won’t do it, as much as I wish they would. That’s the price you pay to go out of your way to bring in some much-needed “veteran presence”. If only Thornton would take himself out, but again, that won’t happen either. And to be perfectly honest, if that was me, I don’t think I would either.
But they should at least take him off the PP, or at least put him on PP2.

I wonder how the ratio Leafs vs Habs fans will be in the building.

Well, in a normal situation, I think there would be a good amount of Leafs fans in the stands. However, given there were only 2 500 tickets available and that they were sold to season tickets holder in priority, I doubt there will be any left. Maybe a handful who will buy tickets from scalpers, but that's it!

They gotta get it done tomorrow. I have faith in them. If it goes to game 7 I’m not sure I could even handle watching it. To many flashbacks would be happening. Lol.
