Pitt are better, probably better coached and their goalie matches up against our offense better than ours do against there's even though we have a better goalie ( not by that much though). Pitt will only need 2 goals to win against us in the playoffs each game unless 1. We somehow use a time machine and ice our 2024 team or 2. We drastically change the team.

We’re winning games because of shesty. Simple as that. This team isn’t a playoff team in any way without him. That right there is the issue. The f***ing Hawks plugged in whoever was healthy to win their cups. You know why? Because they dominated teams offensively. We’re not going to win anything until we change the MULTIPLE holes in this roster. I for one am not ok with just making the playoffs and then getting embarrassed.

This comes up a lot. Does anyone know what Tanner and Jed actually do? My assumption is that it's nothing game related because the thought of them providing in-depth skill tips is frightening and I assume that stuff is done by coaches. Is it just about off-ice things like prep, looking after yourself and personal development?
There's no way they're responsible for developing their on-ice games, right?

I don't know what Pitt is going to do. Do they have the assets, picks, and cap space to get something done? We have all 3 in spades. Again, you think Pitt is unbeatable for some reason. I don't.

I still maintain that Buchnevich was a cap casualty.

That said, I would have liked something else in return. I like Blais, but we didn't need more of that element if we were already bringing in Goodrow, Hunt, and Reaves.

The Rangers convinced themselves that they looked bad in tight games because they didn't have enough hitting.

In reality (and I said this but they don't answer my emails) they looked bad in tight games because Christopher James Kreider is the only forward in the New York Rangers organization who drives play anywhere besides up my ass or off a cliff.

DISCLAIMER: getting a better piece back for Buchnevich would have been a drop in the bucket towards fixing this. It won't get fixed because they don't think it's an issue.

Preach it. The forward corps still needs a lot of talent. A lot of talent they need to find in the draft because they don’t have the cap space to import it in FA.

I suspect Drury isn’t the right GM for this team because he thinks the perfect player is a young 50 point version of himself instead of superstar offensive players.
