After the lock out in 04 (05?). Team was awful, attendance dropped & Jacobs took a hit to his wallet. Next thing you knew he fired everybody and brought in Chiarelli & company.
IMO team management has come full circle. The old ex-Bruins network is back and the team is stagnant. Time for another house cleaning.

Much more likely they win, it will be closer to Colorado win, then Capitals win, right before Christmas break. If for some reason McAvoy and Carlo not back it will be exactly like Avs game.

When Tage played for UCONN he was basically a power play goal scorer. He's always had that shot. But there really weren't any signs of the total package we see now. Took him 5 seasons in the league before he suddenly blossomed. Patience is a virtue.
Well, I think we all agree, a message must be sent, but to be fair to the ST, many waited on a list for those tickets, so before that action is taken, start not buying that overpriced beer, hotdogs, any other shit food they are throwing out there. have a meal at home before you leave for the game, go out to eat before or after the game, better for the small business owners, and you will be grateful for a good meal. I also suggest stop buying that overpriced merchandise that they are putting out there, you do not need to wear that crap at those prices, to show your support for the team. Small sacrifice to make a point, just do it.
We can thank Sweeney and his drafting between 2015-2017 for that. Should be looking minimum at Barzal and Thomas\Noris at center (taken directly after the 3 Amigos and Vaak) and Kyrou taken 6 picks after Frederic, not to mention Kyle Connor.
Its 2016 & 2017 also. Could have taken Thomas instead of a falling Vaak and Kyrou over Frederic.

What occurs when you miss camp for $. Happens damn near every time. Glad his save percentage is setting a new bar for goalies. Just not the one he thought.

You categorically can't say that. There aren't 32 geniuses running NHL franchises.
Of course that applies to Sweeney, but if a Coyle for Donato, Taylor Hall or Zacha for Haula type deal appears you have to do it.

16 million for Swayman, and Lindholm, not saying DeBrusk should have been signed, but a replacement should have been. I said at the time Swayman was signed; you can be the greatest goaltender in the world, but if there is no one in front of you it does not matter.

We're talking about two different things here though. You're talking about a hockey trade that helps your team now and into the future. I'm talking about adding a rental at the deadline, which would be a huge mistake. The deals you reference, 2 were off season moves, and only the Coyle deal was in season and close to the deadline. But even then, that was more the organization giving up on at the time, a high rated prospect than having to get Coyle.

Well he's fourth best goalie they can play right now. He's laughable. Only saves easy glove shots or shots that comes to straight to logo. Forget buying Lindholm's contract out. This guy needs to go. Rather take Patrick Lalime back than watch this guy letting straight non-masked shots go in all the time.
I'd love to see that but they're running out of time. Too many teams with games in hand
