I agree with you much of the time. 100% agree with your first paragraph and the first sentence in the second paragraph which said the same thing.

Dominate is one thing. Passing up shots to make that extra pass is not a winning formula for the games ahead. It creates bad habits. hero hockey with 2 minutes left in the game is not winning hockey. If someone had never watched the Avs play before and only had this board as a reference, they would probably think our team is on the verge of a rebuild. We had a rough game but my God this place is depressing. Everyone needs to take a deep breath.

I actually thought it was a developmental year early on. Rushing Covid Byram, Timmins, and thinking Ej could play a full season. Mc Donald has been a nice surprise but I think the attempt at development should have waited a year.

I agree with you, as I often do, when you analyze games and players. I agree they passed up too many shots. My question to you was with the negativity, specifically the “they’ll never win” declarations. Accurate analysis is not negatively.

Decent game from Kadri, also thought Timmins turned in another good effort. Newhook looked like he belonged, and I loved that Bednar was trusting him with d-zone draws.

Top line and top defensive pairing were utter dogshit tonight, no use in mincing words. Overall just kind of a low-energy game that no one really seemed to care much about.

Also, don’t care how highly ranked it is, the PK is a problem.

Probably more cause they looked bad against a bottom 5 team 2 games in a row, in as close to a must win situation you can have in the regular season as contenders. If Korenar plays Monday, San Jose wins.

I never mentioned anything about them not ever winning today. You brought that up. I merely said I didnt like the way they lost tonight having a 2 goal lead on San Jose with 21 minutes left in a game. Is that being negative or is that what happened? Ditto the PP. The PK concerns me alot more. I know LOC and Calvert are key players on the PK but it shouldnt be this bad. Honestly what has it been the last 10 games? Seems they get scored on every night on the PK.
