For me, it’s frustrating when the team loses due to a poor effort. It’s one thing when a goalie gets hot, or the other teams superstar decides they aren’t losing. It’s another when you lose a very winnable game due to really bad decisions.

However, I do think these games can play an important role in building a team. They remind good teams that they can’t just assume they will win on talent alone. These are the games that can come in handy to tune your team up for the playoffs.
