They have won 10 playoff games and are in the 3rd round. They just may not be good enough to get over the hump. Florida is going to destroy whoever comes out of the west. Changes need to be made it's not a blow it up situation.

He went like 40 games without an ES goal and disappeared in the playoffs. He's a terrible #2C and should've been removed from the 1st unit PP when he forgot how to score goals.

When JD and Gorton were signing and drafting all those soft guys a lot of people here were rightfully concerned. This team, whilst tons of skill is soft as hell. Mika is straight up pathetic and they just extended him, it makes you sick. Bread holy shit, the duality of man. Playoffs truly are a different animal. Heaviness wins out in a grind against the top teams left. Luck runs out. Igor's good cap hit window is WASTED.

I never thought Laf would turn it around, he kind of has, just needs to sustain it. Kakko looked like the better player out of the two, and yet this season it couldn't be further from the truth. The vets may be an issue, but Kakko not developing certainly is an issue, but at the end of the day plenty of blame to go around.
We don't defend well enough.
Thought we changed the gameplan a bit tonight too, felt like we were forechecking with 2 way more than the last few games.
The disappearance of MIka is just bad, this dude is a shell of what I thought he was. If he could drive play it would be a different story maybe.
Anyway, good season all things considered, I didn't expect much going into it.

Your mental health is far more valuable than a sports match. I stepped away from politics quite a bit over the last 7 months, for example. And everyone on here knows how insanely political I am.
I’ve made a conscious effort to get rid of the bad. I really couldn’t care less if they lose. It would suck, but it’s also life. Far more important things than wasting stress levels on this team.
My PSA for the evening.

I thought the Rangers played better tonight. The Panarin disappearance and a couple of other factors.
As much as I don’t like Miller, he played better tonight. Schindler? Played better tonight, Zibanajad made an appearance.

All the “fans” at this game that left early after the third goal should be banned from Rangers games forever. Those people don’t care enough and don’t deserve to be at a game of this magnitude.

I also don't think the coaching decisions have helped and this is honestly the first time I'm questioning them all year. Rempe hasn't been needed in 2 games. He kills the fourth line.
If we somehow find a way to win, I still think we beat whoever comes out of the West. But I'm not confident we win the next game, let alone the next two.
We have the right pieces, but we also have some very wrong pieces which really negates the good. Zibanejad hasn't been the same since the Burns brutal cross check. Fox hasn't been the same since the first knee injury and even worse since the second.
Panarin... abysmal. Trouba... abysmal. Gus... just slightly better but still awful.
If Panarin, Mika and Kreider were contributing and we had a replacement level player for Trouba... I think this is a different series. But they haven't and it's not.
Trouba, Mika and Panarin have lost this series for us, if we lose on Saturday. Kreider, despite his goal tonight is inching into that territory as well.
