Panarin is getting absolutely mauled every time he touches the puck. Their entire game plan revolves around neutralizing him. This narrative that Panarin is getting outplayed and that he can't perform in the playoffs is a hot trash take. Every good team shuts down the other teams best players deep in the playoffs. He's not the problem; How many points does Barkov have?

The problem is that our defensemen can't move the f***ing puck up the ice with any degree of skill and no one on this team can skate at an above average level outside maybe Roslovic and he's 180 lbs soaking wet

We can play our best game of the series in G6 and still loss. And it won't be something to hang out hats on because it doesn't matter

We did not play the best game of the series in my opinion. I'd rank it third after games 1 and 2. The Panthers' third period this game was better than any period they had in the first two games. We really didn't give up much in the first two games and this game we gave up more especially in the third. There was a narrative that started in game 1 that we were overmatched but it's only been true in Florida.

completely different breed of players especially when it comes to the playoffs.
The latter two continuously batter your defense shift after shift. If you don't think that contributes to your defense playing a bit timid and shaky then I don't know what to tell you. That shit adds up in the playoffs.

I would be happy this off-season just getting rid of Trouba but I don't see it happening.

Barkov has been far better than Panarin, CK or Zibanejad combined.

Imagine if we played the 2014 Montreal Canadiens in the ECF this year, with or without Price. Sometimes it's just luck. No upsets meant a really hard road to the cup. The only team with the tougher road was Dallas. I know we played Washington but both Tampta and Boston are worse than Carolina and LA and Vancouver with their third stringer were a joke.

Agreed, but the main issue has been pure lack of offense as of late. I get that our defenders are banged up, but our forwards are MIA.

I maintain we win the Cup with him. This is going to be Drury’s biggest regret as a manager. In fact, if he ever writes a memoir one day, I’d guarantee this comes up in it if the team loses next game.

Fox would have brought this offense - huge reason why forwards look so ineffective is unfortunately because there’s close to none of it coming from defense.

Backs against the wall now, I wonder if Laviolette will pull out a radical move and yes calling on Jones would be that. Remove Kakko and Rempe. Add Jones and Wheeler

Sure was better but the third separated the men from the boys. They wanted it more. The pp to boot was a disaster.

I'm not saying we don't low key kind of suck in front of him. Please don't get it confused. I'm saying this current iteration of the bargain bin trade deadline Rangers is not gonna get over the hump without him putting up some sort of god-like performance.

He didn't do it against Carolina either. They scored a metric f*** ton against us. We won because they thought you could win the Cup with Freddy Andersen as your goalie

Carolina and Florida are 2 of the very best teams in the league. You can't expect him to stop every shot these teams throw at him. He has been the best goalie in the playoffs AINEC. He is not going to be perfect. He is the LEAST of the Rangers problems.

For #1, how bout splitting the BFFs up? If we bow out again, I think we can all agree that line has run its course. I'd love to see Kreider with Vinny for a full season. They've looked good in the short time we've seen them together.

Rempe absolutely has to be out especially on the road. Would love to see Jones. Not gonna happen. Maybe Wheeler for Roslo? But I can understand Kakko out at this point. He's zero threat to score.

The problem is that Panarin and Zibanejad don’t go to the middle of the ice unless there’s space. Full stop. If that changes Saturday we’ll win, if not we won’t.
