This one hurts. Thought we played fine just not good enough.

I hate pulling the goalie that early. I hate the fact that coaches still think it’s okay since Roy got lucky a couple times with Colorado doing it.

I hate that half our defense can’t even make a hit they’re so injured. Not to mention that they’re not good enough for Florida’s forwards.

I hate that this might be it. I can’t remember the last time I had the “feels” for one of my teams actually being able to do it. It’s been 30 years for me. I was 8 in 94. I live and breathe sports. I can’t watch game 6 more than likely so I hope we get another game out of this series.

You cannot be certain. You don’t know what their requests were. By some reports you are wrong.
 
First elimination game comes in game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final. Come on boys we can’t give up just yet. This shit ain’t supposed to be easy. You have to think we play our best game on Saturday. We haven’t seen this team play a truely desperate game yet

Not sure that happens over a vigorous NHL season/playoffs. Always seems to get hurt when things look good for him

no shame in losing to a better deeper team. Igor is the best goalie in the league. everyone else isn't good enough and Panarin us getting outplayed by the likes of Reinhart and Bennett. Panarin and Trouba f***ing horrible.

Does he have a bad series right now, yes but without him we dont get by the Canes. Imagine if Panarin could show up and pick up the slack but no, this team is dead in the water if Mika goes cold.

Not last season. This season was his second season that he cracked 70. Mika can get you points earlt in the playoffs, but further down the line (ECF), he has 5 points in 11 games played.

You could say the same for Tro, who had 8 points in that series to Zibs 7, with Tro scoring the Game 2 OT winner.

So you're telling me that a GM in the NHL is going to take a worse package from our team than what he wound up getting because the color of our jerseys are blue and we play in NY? When he's trading within the division anyway?

I don't know man, sometimes I think you're a bit too hard on this team.

Their bottom six has to be the worst in the league not counting I guess Chicago and San Jose, they have one good defenseman and he's hurt, and on top of that the powerplay is 1 for their last 5,000,000.

And yet, here they are for the second time in three years. Somebody has to be good on this team. It can't just be Igor.

We didn't play poorly against Carolina. We played poorly against the best team in the league.

If Kreider and Zibanejad are the defacto second line, and they definitely are, I really don't think it's the end of the world. They generate goals over large samples.

Kaapo Kakko leads the team in xGF% in the playoffs. If he's on the team next year, I'm jumping in the East River. When it's 2, 3, 5 years, there has to be more to it than xG's.

Serious question, where will the Rangers find a another center who produces PPG in both regular season and the playoffs for the same cost as Mika?

It's not really even about the points from my perspective. Stylistically this iteration of the team has maxed out. I'd take 12 Trocheck type players for a forward group. It's about battle level.

I just hate pulling the goalie so early, for 50 years coaches waited for last minute. We saw why.
Still not over, just gotta win game 6, stranger things have happened.
 
The most frustrating thing about the last two games is they had a chance to have great first periods, and they only wound up with good first periods.

The last 40 minutes of both games 4 and 5 were pathetic.

Like I said that's dumb. This team will make changes and hopefully be ever better next year. Hell, the season isn't even over yet. I'm still hoping for a miracle.
