Really though whether Geno is there or not we have other guys who can step up and need to this game.

Agreed. Hags-Sheahan-Kessel. Run the 1st and 3rd line as is. ZAR and Kuhn slot in for some shifts, or maybe Sid doubles once or twice with them.

The biggest disappoint for me has been Rust. He has been simply terrible, and I don't even just mean in terms of scoring. Aside from game 1 he has made soft plays, lost battles, etc. Not the Rust we're used to seeing.

He's probably still hurt.

Pens always seem to have at least one stinker per series. I don't really count Game 2 because that was more a case of bad puck luck. So I guess tonight is that stinker?

I think Sid can produce with anyone really. His line will still be targeted by the top pairs no matter the wingers.

I think he would produce quite a bit more with at least one top 6 forward

If the pass was good, ZAR had an open net basically. It was an awful pass. He was in two minds and screwed up

The pass was like 2 feet behind him. Seeing it wasn't an issue.

Good news is the game isn't over either.

Still disappointing to see a team in this position fail to do what it needs to do to start the game.

Hope Geno is alright. Real, real dumb to put his leg out like that.
