How come CBJ is able to fill its arena for a random weeknight game against the Sharks but we draw less than 10k on a regular basis?

Columbus is an underrated hockey town tbh. For how mid to bad their hockey team has been, they've always had a fairly strong supporter base. It's why I was happy for them when they signed Johnny Hockey and when they got the Stadium Series. They deserve nice things.

Well, they would be in the playoffs if the season ended today and we are the 2nd worst team in the league.

Their stadium is right in the heart of downtown. It’s easy to get to and there’s a million things to do around it.

You bring up a good point. Why even try to predict game scores anymore? The money play is to just go with whatever score @weastern bias chooses and then pick different scorers and hope to get him on the tiebreak.
