Nuck land is a strange place.

I travel there often, and when the Nucks stunk they were obsessed with the Oilers. "McDavid is amazing, Oilers are my second team, blah blah blah." Kind of struck me as an indicator of their bandwagon element, because you're not going to find even the most causal Oiler fans ever saying the Nucks were their second favourite team no matter the circumstance.

Then fast forward to a time when they deem themselves better than the Oilers and all they do is shit on the team. Their loyalties truly twist in the wind, not a knowledgeable fan base or hockey city whatsoever. When Nucks are good = "IM A HUGE NUCK FAN!" when Nucks aren't good = "I also love the Oilers!"

No but I'm going to Vegas in April so I probably will. Mind you, I'll be spending more time in Utah and Arizona where all the red rock is. Going to Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, ect. Should be a blast!

Still can't believe Pietro only got 1 game for trying to cut off Drai's hand. What a joke this league is. And with all their "injured" players, maybe they'll be able to add another *10 mil player for the playoffs.

I hope the Oilers destroy these punks.

I'm wondering if Draisaitl's subpar performance this year, especially his shot being wonky, can be traced back to that incident.

11 pm start here as well. I finally got a path dug to garage so I’m sitting in garage with a 20 pack beer, pellet stove on to 74, feet up in the air, and maybe a doobie or edible or both. Lots of good games on tonight before Oilers

I’m gonna catch shit for taking this OT, so I will simply say King of the Hill should have been an Olympic sport (I’d forgotten all about that “game”). It was definitely a precursor to American Gladiators and UFC Octagon, in my neighborhood. I’m a still remember kid”s moms getting mad because little Johnny‘s snow suit got ripped and needed to be patched/mended because things got boisterous on the hill.

Climbing the wrought iron railing on the house to get on the roof and then jumping off the roof into the snow was another event in our local so you think your tough escapades. Boy, we were dumb.

Parents would wonder why we had taken up a sudden interest in shoveling sidewalks and making a huge snow pile....haha

Weird seeing that the Oilers average age is 30, we've been so used to them being the "young team" since '06 really. Really illustrates that this is truly a "win now" team.

Perry bumped our average age up about 3 years! lol
