Compare that bottom six to the one Holland inherited:

You can pick from (and no you can't have Lucic or Chiasson, they were playing mostly in the top 6): Rattie, Caggiula, Reider, Brodziak, Khaira, Puljujarvi, Cave, Spooner, Gagner (without hips).

Our GM hasn't been all bad.
No he hasnt but the Campbell acquisition was a doozy of a mistake.

Something tells me this game isn’t going to be close. Just got a feeling that one of the 2 teams have meddled in all the happenings going on in Vegas rn for Super Bowl week

I want to say this is the biggest game of the year but maybe those first wins under Knoblauch were a bigger deal lol

8pm games - the worst, especially big ones like this.

Waiting until 8 for the game sucks enough, but then not being able to sleep until midnight at best and 2am at worst depending on how the game goes is the cherry on top.
Just drink heavily and pass out half way through the second period.

Enjoy the new screen.

Going to be sweet watching 16 play off wins on that baby!
So excite!

new tv, first time 4K, got the surround sound all hooked up finally.

My older plasma TV swiveled screen which was great for hooking up. My entertainment system is next to wall and so its harder to hook these new TV's up with not so nimble fingers. Like having to fish behind in back there hoping to get it in, get it in, get it in....like screwing in the complete dark...lol

don't read this kiddies.

What size TV?

I got a 70" 4K I got 5 years ago. Thinking of 100" one day

Didn't go max size just because of how our rec room is setup. We have projection screen on one side and TV across width of room just 9-10feet from seating so using the general formula of divided distance by 2 we went with 55inch. If we want bigger action we just watch on projector. In playoffs I go nuts and have both running. lol Trouble is they aren't synced so you see a goal on one screen before the other, I know theres a way to fix this.

The other factor is we're getting older and 45lbs is enough for me to be lifting up onto the entertainment center by myself. Wife isn't coordinated with this kind of stuff. lol that the plasma screen I had on there was near 100lbs.. same size...

Getting the win is more important than setting the record. We want home ice over these clowns.

Still can't believe Pietro only got 1 game for trying to cut off Drai's hand. What a joke this league is. And with all their "injured" players, maybe they'll be able to add another *10 mil player for the playoffs.

I hope the Oilers destroy these punks.

Remember Dad bringing one of these bad boys home, including the rabbit ears? 2 channels and my younger brother was the “remote control” , hey, go change the channel kid!

We thought we were something special when it happened. I remember watching the 1972 Olympics in black and white but then in 1976 Montreal , seeing Greg Joy in glorious colour.

Heard on the radio Karlsson is back. He loves scoring against us. Eichel is out. We know that. Carrier and Theodore still out

Have to hand it to these fu*kers. Half of the time I look at their roster I have no clue who a bunch of guys are. Goalies getting injured, etc. They don't sink though

I hope Kane smacks peitro around again and gets him off of his game. He looked like an entitled dbag in the playoffs like he shouldn't be hit

Also expect bird face stone to do a lot of complaining tonight

I could count to 13 by the time I was 3-4. Due to the TV channel dial. Yeah, I was the remote. I think CBC French was 12. We were so hard up for channels back then we would watch that and they always had the Habs on, none of this Leafs or Nucks shit. I learned hockey French. lol. Then when ITV came up with a channel it was amazing. Wow. another one more channel! haha Then Cable came along and we had 20 channels, living large...

I remember Greg Joy like yesterday and also because Canada doing well or medaling in any event was unheardof at Summer Olympics. That was just when they were rolling out participaction. heh.

Mind you in our neighborhood our pursuits like flinging ourselves down bike hills or road hockey or "King of the hill" on 30fthigh snowpiles weren't considered Olympic sports.

I’m gonna catch shit for taking this OT, so I will simply say King of the Hill should have been an Olympic sport (I’d forgotten all about that “game”). It was definitely a precursor to American Gladiators and UFC Octagon, in my neighborhood. I’m a still remember kid”s moms getting mad because little Johnny‘s snow suit got ripped and needed to be patched/mended because things got boisterous on the hill.

Climbing the wrought iron railing on the house to get on the roof and then jumping off the roof into the snow was another event in our local so you think your tough escapades. Boy, we were dumb.
