GDT: Game 46: Kings at Islanders | Saturday January 21, 2017 4p.m. PST

Nothing to show for it yet but I really like the idea of Martinez-Forbort. Forbort is more mobile than Muzzin and they're already reading each other pretty well.

I get trying to be positive but I'm sick of hearing about "the process." Way too many nights "the process" is do everything but score on chance after chance and go home with a loss.

43 regulation goals with a goalie in the net in 22 games before tonight. Shut out 4 times in regulation. Scored 1 goal 7 other times, and 2 goals another 3 times. 6.8% sounds about right. Thankfully they had 7 against the Leafs.

I totally get it. But the amount of fluky goals scored against us lately is insane.

Off the backboards and tapped in 2x and now off Budaj's mask and five-hole? When was the last time we got those? Instead, we get goalies and defensemen making insane saves with empty nets.

Our luck is gonna change if we play like this consistently. Even in this game. Isles won't be able to just sit on this lead for 40 minutes.

Edit: SHould say I agree though at some point results matter and we can't afford a losing streak right now

I knew we shouldn't have made fun of the Canucks for their moral victories. What goes around...
 
God I ****ing hate how the whistles disappear until the other team gets any semblance of possession then the refs get so eager to call 4 penalties in a row on the Kings every single time.
 
All teams should start their backups against the Kings. The pathetic, impotent offense won't cause any damage and they can rest their starters for more significant opponents.
