Gabo is, what he is, a soon to be 35 year old Hockey player, with numerous injuries and only 12 ES goals in his last 81 NHL games.

Kopitar is just having a really bad year.
 
Worst thing to happen to Brown was that he got paid. Worst thing to happen to Kopitar was that he got paid. Worst thing to happen to Gaborik was he got old. Worst thing to happen to Muzzin was apparently being named to Team Canada, because he wasn't good there either. Worst thing to happen to Doughty was actually winning the Norris.

No more complaining about east coast or Canadian city bias. Take that trophy back from last year. Give it to Karlsson. Give it to Burns, who has owned Doughty head to head for the last 15 games.
 
Dowd AND Pearson banged up, and Mersch is out for months in addition to all our other injuries.

If the other guys don't figure it out and fast, we're tanked.

Only so much a bubble team can be asked to endure since the difference between the middle teams is razor thin.

Turns out when you perform, you get paid. Has always happened and will continue to happen. Burns just got ****ing 8x8. Let's revisit that one in a year shall we? Or let's see what happens to this year's cup winner.

The price of success is a terrible one after the fact. Sucks, but this happens to every team.
 
Do the Kings entertain the idea of trading Carter yet? I said it when Quick went down, do you move Carter now to try and speed up the inevitable rebuild/reload?
 
Still won't be bad enough for a top end pick. Cause you know the Kings will eventually at some point get healthy, and go on a tear if Quick comes back.

Probably just miss the playoff's, with something like 85-88 points.

correlation does not imply causation. this is an extremely narrow-minded way of looking at things and I shouldnt have to point it out but youre wrong

Kings would have to be a sub 75 point team to even make the top Five picks.

I don't see that happening, especially if they get healthy, and stay that way for the last 25-30 games of the season.

This draft sucks outside the Top Ten picks.

Sorry, I thought the hyperbole wasn't that thin. Not sure about Muzzin though. I'm keeping my eye on that one.
