One of Johnson's best games in my opinion..

He made up for it with some offence, but he had two egregious turnovers in my opinion. One was a no look pass right to a Lightning player in our own zone in the third.

Yeah I saw those (I assume they're the same ones). I noticed two in the game against Carolina as well.

That said, I also counted two standout ones from Tyutin (two and a half more like).

I hate to go against the grain, but I don't think Letestu touched it. On the high replay it looks like he was just barely off, and on the ice level replay it looked like, had he hit it, he would have knocked it into Lindback. Looked like the puck snuck in between the glove and head, over the shoulder.

Lindback has his glove too low initially. Looks like it beat him high, not low.



Anyway, this game made my night. Really great game to watch.

Good thing they didn't give it to Letestu initially. I saw the replay and slightly wonder if it was hit with a high stick. Not sure it would have been conclusive enough to overturn since I couldn't even tell the point it made contact with his stick.

His stick was a couple of inches below the crossbar, after slowing the video down to super slow mo. A little too close for comfort, but wouldn't have been overturned.

Just by his reaction I assumed that he knew he tipped it. Players are very rarely wrong in that regard.

To be fair it's a little ridiculous to BOO the PP in a 1 goal game. That's the point you're trying to give your team energy, not discourage your team & make them squeeze the sticks.

Boll's essentially out for the year. He's the least of their concerns at this point. Someone goes, for sure, but it's hard to tell who. I would imagine the one to go will be Gaborik...

Boll is untradeable. I got attacked for saying that his 3 year/5.1M extention was a ridiculous contract especially considering he had a year remaining & there was no real urgency & they had signed Letestu for 2 years/2.5M & Calvert 2 years/2M.

Give him either the term, 3years, or the money, 1.7M/per but not both IMO.

If the Blue Jackets are still in the hunt for a playoffs spot, does he go on Trade Deadline day or on July 1st? Tough call on Jarmo imo. You don't want to lose him for nothing so getting assets for a soon to be UFA is great. But if he stays healthy, a guy like Gaborik would be great for the final push and if they make it, in the playoffs. Do you try to acquire another scoring forward and trade Gaborik? Or keep Gaborik and not acquire a player?

i honestly didn't hear any boos for the PP...more for awful calls when they were evening up the calls...

Jack's play has been beastly lately...i guess getting snubbed and Jarmo "calling him out" on it has helped...

also... DAT CROWD....wow...the third was hopping...and my voice is still cracking...3 days to get right before Friday...

My daughter's first game in a couple seasons (she didn't get to one in the abbreviated season, sadly). Great to get a win and a terrific game to boot!

Great win. But I am getting tired of Dubie's stupid overemotional penalties. That cross-check that led to TB's first goal was just plain dumb. It added nothing to the game and it was done in the wide open center ice where refs could easily see. I understand passion. But there is also stupid. And Dubie seems to be crossing the line a lot lately.

I saw his stick redirect the puck slightly when it was live. Surprised it took this long to change the call.

There was one PP where the boo's were heard imo. Not sure which one though. Could have been the one in the 2nd period.

Crowd was wild and when Columbus scored the 3rd goal, the players were going wild as well. The bench just jumped up and exploded.

really good game...quite a few bolts fans in attendance...went with the gf's cousin in law...so was glad to send him home less than pleased...
