Actually you can tell some players want to go to the middle or are trying to set up the slot and the puck goes to a void.

This feels like Terry Murray Era except with points. But identical games.

This team needs to get a good amount of offense. Clifford is useless. I just had to throw him under the bus.

He'd have a better chance of scoring a goal from there.

What he say lol

Me: "a good team doesn't need freakin luck against a backup or a bunch of AHLers!! Shut up already"

JimFox19: "what didn't you like about what I said and thanks for the constructive criticism"

I was pretty pissd/frustrated when I tweeted him, I feel pretty bad now that I knew he read my tweet. lol

i have no idea why to fire Kompon when hiring a guy who is running an exact copy of his PP.

Kompon has Chicago's PP top five.

He is a damn good coach, Payne ......not so much

Our powerplay sucks! Fire VanBoxmeer!

Maybe it's not the coach?

This board is funny.

Kings played well and generated a lot of chances. Sucks they weren't finishing, but you can't say they didn't have their chances.

I just suggest you back away from the ledge and give props to Kuemper who stole the game.

Yeah that's true, but the problem is we've had too many f these type of games against AHL teams. Meanwhile we've lost any shot at the division and teh ducks have TEN more ROW's than us at this point.

So with our luck Amart sits and Greene comes back in. Instead of Pearson in Fraser gets the call. Lewis gets moved up to the top line!

Eh, out of all the ****heads we have playing on this team honestly I'd get rid of Clifford last. Lewis? See ya. Fraser? So long jerky. Frattin? Welcome to the Brian Willsie Hall of Fame.

Yeah, I'm afraid you're right. it's now going to be the battle for second place and home ice in the first round.

Line-by-line combined goal totals for the Kings.

Line 1 (King-Kopitar-Carter): 38 goals
Line 2 (Brown-Stoll-Williams): 27 goals
Line 3 (Frattin-Richards-Toffoli): 17 goals
Line 4 (Clifford-Lewis-Nolan): 8 goals

That's 90 combined goals from the Kings' top 12 forwards. They have an additional 2 goals scored from players outside of the top 12, one from Carcillo who has since been traded, and the other from Tanner Pearson.

You know what that number of combined goals by the 12 Kings' forwards averages out to over the 44 games the Kings have played? 2.04.

For comparison, let's look at how the Ducks forwards are doing. I'll go over their lines used most often throughout the season.

Line 1 (Penner-Getzlaf-Perry): 54 goals
Line 2 (Palmieri-Bonino-Selanne): 29 goals
Line 3 (Cogliano-Koivu-Silfverberg): 27 goals
Line 4 (Winnik-Perreault-Maroon): 13 goals
Extra Forwards (Etem, Beleskey, Smith-Pelly, Jackman, Holland [traded]): 12 goals

That's 123 goals for the Ducks' 12 regular forwards, or 135 goals with all of their forwards combined. That averages to 3 goals per game over 45 games for the Ducks.

Haha Getzlaf line has almost doubled up Kopitars , folks Kopitar is not an elite center.

The second he wore 21 I had a bad feeling.

Haha nice, you said the right thing, sometimes the over homerism is painful.

Well it's hard to say that. Both completely different systems. The ducks play a run and gun system, the kings dont.

Interesting the central ownz the Kings this year.

The only thing good to come out of this game, [besides the phantom cam slo mo of the ice girl at the end of the 1st] was this great photobomb by Scrivens. It's still trending on twitter.

I like you, but it doesn't seem like math is a strong point for you. Also you're right about Kopitar not being elite. Remember that time he played 82 games and only scored 11 goals...?

Wish he would shoot more, he gets in these ruts of pass,pass,pass....shoot the damn puck.

That was the best part of the game. next to the ice girls of course :naughty:

It was better than watching the team attempting to score goals against a goalie who had looked terrible in his previous two starts and against a bunch of other AHL players while the wild were also missing their best players.
