Well when you factor in that he was a Panthers prospect it explains part of why he struggles so much. Florida isn't known for developing prospects. (I have nothing against Florida it's just what I've seen.)

Exactly. Coaching matters. We just can't put it all on the kid as to why he isn't performing as expected or hasn't yet reached his potential. Bad organizations can ruin prospects. I think we remember what the old Kings organization did to a lot of promising youth. Thank goodness that doesn't happen under Lombardi.

He's always gotten a lot of critism even in the AHL. He got a hat trick one game in the AHL with Rochester in Roch. And the HOME CROWD booed him. They also said he had no right to b in the AHL allstar classic even though he was one of the best defenseman for Rochester
