OUCH ... Blood red GLAZE :(

Just wait.. the pity for the Jackets will turn into hate as soon as they start winning more. That's going to be LOL. At least they will be in the East and I can enjoy it from afar.

Columbus is a team that would soften up Chicago. Detroit plays like pansies.

Don't care. I'm glad they won't be in the playoffs. Bunch of babies on the team that wouldn't drop the gloves with nolan or Clifford last night.

lol @ all the C-Bus hate after one hard fought game. I was very impressed by the Jackets. They reminded me a bit of the Kings with less talent. Lots of grit and effort though. Like Jim Fox has said a few times, they have really changed their identity this year. I really hope they make the playoffs. Those fans deserve it.

I agree with everything in this post.

Detroit has managed to send 2/4 vs Chicago to a shootout and one of the others to OT. So they will play them hard and give them a run. If that is who makes the 8th seed.

I'd rather see Detroit fans cry about missing the playoffs  ... especially seeing as I have a best friend, a former roommate, and an adult kid of a former GF who are ALL Die hard Red Wings fans :shakehead, and man all the **** I had to endure from them over the years with the only thing I used to have to cling to was our 2001 playoffs upset over them . Yes it's personal but I'd love to drink in their tears of missing the playoffs for the first time in 22 years. :naughty:

Though knowing those ******** they'll just blow it off and deny me my pleasure, those Fockers

It won't change them. They will just shift the topic to how many times has your team come close to making it 21 straight years? Or how many cups has your team won? Only real reason to care about the 8th seed is that of the 3 teams fighting for it I really think they are the only ones that could hurt Chicago. And since I see Chicago as a true threat to us getting back to the finals. Having them maybe removed is big. Having said that I think we are our biggest threat.

The Cup runs through L.A.

Chicago will have to beat the Kings.

 don't get the ref if there is one ? lol

BF is a female, originally from Detroit
Roomie was guy, originally from Detroit
and Kid of ex-GF, happens to be son of Roomie, originally from Detroit
so there ya go ...

I gotz way too many DeTwaters in my life :sarcasm: :loony:

I have a good originally from Detroit who lives in L.A. plays hockey and his name is Arpod (Sandor).
He had a few room mates that I had met over the years and I thought the coincidence was too close not to possibly have some connection.

Maybe everyone has a friend who used to be from Detroit but lives in L.A. now and one of those intolerable Wings fans? :dunno:
