Yeah, especially when this one is probably getting tired of me.
Meh, I'm sure 98% of people around here got sick of my shit years ago but I'm still here lol

Hmmmm. I just meant make a jets hot take in a thread on the sight and defend it against the group. This really took an unexpected left turn into a hot tub. lol.

If you want to post in your swim trunks you do you man.

And don’t be so hard on yourself. There’s always a buyer for a seller George.

@Buffdog dm’d me this gif after reading your post.

Buffdog wins the trivia prize for distraction afternoon.

T length usually means you can go topless (which is where the T originated, I think) but cover up very quickly if circumstances dictate. It's also handy in more private times when you want to create a certain effect. I wore my hair t length for a couple of years at the end of covid and discovered it's the worst style to have for a winter hot tub.

Speaking of distractions, this has been fun, watching this board and needling my sister back home, but time I got into a hot shower and prepped for tonight and avoided fridge leftovers. Early puck-drop is confusing on the stomach.

Go Jets go!

I won't be there - no way am I going to subject anyone seeing me in a bathing suit. I think it's actually against the Geneva Convention...
We spent a month one summer in Geneva. Most of the guys there wear speedos as swimsuits. I thought it looked a bit silly but the wife called it "very European" and her eyes were glued to every guy who walked passed us. So much for Convention!

I'd lay 3:2 on the Jets if I was at a bookie, if it was with a friend I'd go as far as 2:1 but the first beer would be on them.
Is it a coincidence that Bodog is paying 1.5:1 (ie 3:2) on the Jets? :D

Jets -2.5 are only paying 3.2:2.

PlayNow is paying 31:1 for the Ehlers hattrick. Same for the Vilardi hattrick.

I'll never understand the huge surge in sports betting. Never seen so many people so eager to throw their money away.

It's homemade pizza night at Casa Thin Ice.

The better half has promised a surprise pizza tossed into the mix. Something she saw online:

Typically there will be a pepperoni & mushroom, one with ungodly amounts of assorted cheese, an everything that isn't nailed down type , or maybe pizza nachos as well as a couple others. Usually she makes 4 12 inchers, far more if we've got company.

But tonight she is making one we've never had and I'm intrigued. I'll be sure to update when this mystery pizza makes it's debut.

Also hoping no Jets serve up any pizzaa to the Philadelphia Cryers tonight.

Surprise pizza you’ve never had before from the wife!!?

Sounds like someone is getting a pizza served to them by a chef in t length hair.

The whole board will wait for the update!

I dunno, sounds like a trap pizza to me. All those great ingredients, nice large sizes, only concern is the mystery angle. It could be a trap.

Be sure to update us. My favourite disstraction in here has buggered off to shower so until George starts posting his Swiss swimsuit pics, your pizza is the main focus.

And that's why she's your ex, right? I've been through the Tupperware phase and with 3 daughters in the house almost needed an extra room just to contain the stuff. Never had a problem with the wife and clothes, mostly cause she earned more than me for most of our life. (I was a solicitor, she was a barrister] But most of her professonal wardrobe was custom made -- she's 6 foot and uses a cane for the past decade so never stooped over like most old women -- and was into long flowing capes and stuff that cost a fortune. Probably bought her seamstress a new house. But it was her money and she did what she wanted and the effect was pretty sharp. Like Diana said the other day she does look like a Elf Queen when she's got her black cape and cane. I'm a lucky man even tho I won't be getting any mystery pizza tonight.

Well she's my ex for far worse than that , but that's not a discussion for here. Lets just say that it was probably never the right thing to do(marrying her), it wasn't anything to do with "doing the right thing" just was never going to be right. Stuck it out for a long time, but anyways.

Funny story though, since I mentioned her penchant for spending a lot of money on clothes. After we were no longer together I was out and about with my gf at the time (R.I.P Debra) and I spotted my ex. We were at a mall so she was likely shopping for clothes, lol. She did not see me but I pointed her out to Debra who deadpanned "Why does she dress like an old lady?". Nearly pissed myself and choked on some food(we were in the food court).
