Don't blame the ref on that one. Even on replay you couldn't see where the puck was, I don't expect the ref to see that in real time with 10 players in the blue paint + Rinne

But we beat a near full strength Blackhawks, and a pretty good (despite the standings) Islanders recently. To me, that means (on our day), we can beat anyone.

The reason I tune in every game, and even watch the replays of the losses if I'm at work, is despite the culture around the team, I think we can win every game.

We can't.

13-26-1.

Don't have the talent on the team to win or even have a chance of winning every game.

Annoying to have another winnable game being lost due to our veteran presence. Slow, lazy, zero awareness.

I liked the top two lines and Zadorov. Good effort and offensive presence.

Lol if that last 20 seconds doesn't show everyone in the league how finished Jarome Iginla is, I don't know what will.

Victor Arvidsson is one of the weakest players in the league. Very fast, but very weak. And he out-muscles Jarome Iginla for 15 seconds in a board battle and wins the puck.

There's your veteran leader!

It's more than a talent issue in my mind. They can increase the talent level, but there is very little semblance of structure or simple fundamentally sound hockey on the ice.

But Mike Haynes said it was loose and free all the time when we saw the replay (but never saw the puck untill it was in the net)

Another loss but at least it was a competitive game.

You're move, Arizona.

Yeah, many of the veterans are making plays like they just don't care. They probably don't at this point, but I don't see how you keep playing those veteran players and not give some kids a chance. It just smacks of no accountability whatsoever within the organization IMO.

Rycroft, "no one is better at losing hockey games than the Colorado Avalanche are".

Agreed, majority of the players have already mailed it in. It's so obvious by now.
