The Landeskog comment feels to me like just Chambers trying to tie in the Bednar quotes and reason for MacKinnon's benching with his already written article about Landy, because it wasn't in Frei's about Nate's benching.
Those last two paragraphs don't fit with the rest of the article about Landy. Chambers was probably just too lazy, or didn't want to write another one about MacKinnon.
