Patty's not playing so that is assured.

I ran into this issue recently as well.
You need to insert you GIF link into the media slot instead of the image slot.

Yeah, I had tried that too, but I was using an incorrectly formatted link. Think I've got it now, thanks.

This game is threat to the "3 goals or less" streak. Jets always seem to struggle against Eastern Conference teams that they don't see too much. I've watched a decent amount of CBJ this season and while they are not a great team, one thing they are good at is scoring opportunistically. Their line with the three Russians is a handful and Johnny runs hot and cold and can go off anytime.

On the other hand they can't hold a lead to save their lives so even if they do score more than 3, the Jets should have a chance.
Jackets fan popping in to scout the competition, since we don't see much of you guys and I'm not as familiar with the Jets as I am, say, the Kings (since we're such frequent trade partners).

Columbus is one of the top 5v5 scoring teams in the league (second only to Vancouver in number of goals scored, in fact). They've just got abysmal special teams (the PK was also very good til Jenner broke his jaw, and now it is also awful) and a tendency like most very young teams to turtle and collapse in third periods. They're also in the top half of the league in GF in all situations. I wouldn't worry too much that the Jets won't win this one, especially if Columbus is up at any point in the third period, but I agree the three goals or less streak is likely in jeopardy. There's also been a panic thread on the main boards after nearly every Jackets victory by an opposing team's fan (they've beaten almost every contender they've played so far this year: NYR, Boston, Tampa, Toronto, and the Devils), so if the Jackets win this one, I look forward to the Jets panic thread. Combine that with some motivation from Vincent to show well in his former home? This one might give the Jets fits.

The Jets don't score much in the first period but generally cave teams in by the 3rd.
We also won 4 straight games recently after giving up the first goal so playing from behind is a special skill of ours. Still, all winning streaks come to an end eventually and a loss will come our way at some point. Maybe tonight...

Na no panic thread needed if you guys win, Jets are a different team this season and even if they lose they will not go into a slide. Think the Jets win tonight though so no worries.

The worst thing than happened to Kupari was getting injured, unfortunately for him it helped the Jets and Gus Bus came in played well on the 4th and when he got injured Tony Nato came in and the 4th line continued to play well. Eventually Kupari will get back into the lineup but we need to see more than what he did earlier in the season or he might be out of the lineup again

All of our games are trap games now considering we are the top team in the NHL.:naughty: Man i like being able to say that.
You got that right.
The Jets trap there opponents by thinking they can win by letting them score a goal first or hang around for 2 periods and than BANG the third period starts and the opponents are left saying WTF just happened.

We have a relatively easy next six games before this national attention....checks notes...GOOD LORD, COMES TO A HEAD IN A HOME-AND-HOME WITH THE LEAFS!
guaranteed if were still in the lead the day we play the leafs that these 6 games will get mentioned to undermine the Jets skill.

Any takers?

The Jets are also one of if not the best at 5 on 5 scoring. Plus we have among the best goal differentials in the league. No panic in fact we look forward to another consistent Jets performance for the 11th or so game in a row.
Plus on top of it our PP is just starting to come around and the PK has been sufficient lately. We role 4 lines who all bring the heat and a maddening fore check for the opposition. Good luck, mate!

Where do you get your stats from?
I just checked 5v5 goal stats ... CBJ is 29th and Vancouver is 16th or are you counting just the goals scored not the goals against which is important because the team with the most goals at the end of the game wins.
